Thank you!!! Yes, I do, I was doing the same thing this morning!!! Praying for strength, wisdom, comfort and guidance. For the past few nights my dreams have all been dominated by mom and her situation, like I can't escape it. I played caregiver to my dad and it totally threw me off course personally. I fought for his life, but eventually God had other plans. I want balance in my life right now, so I am not sucked in and overwhelmed by the graveness of it all (again). I've been doing a lot of reading and research, like in the Basic Astrology threads. Quite honestly, I'm feeling that casanova thing again, big time. And rather than just cage the tiger this time, I'm attempting to understand it and the various aspects that are contributing to this mode/feeling. Overall, I find it's very psychological because I'm convincing myself not be reckless. Trying to under how transits, house rulers, and other stuff may affect it too. A key aspect is something you pointed out to me early on about venus conjunct Mars opposite the Moon. When there is a square involving this transit, about twice a month, my emotions are all over the place  So now, no matter how calm I am, I consider myself single, although I will always feel the same way about him, libra and I are in a holding pattern. And I feel a little guilty about my wanting to move on to another lover. The last time I tried to discuss my having closure with him, he was like "just hold on for a while, can you do that for me." I agreed, but something in the back of head is saying this is libra ploy. Since then I've decided not to have a conversation with him about it. I know you said these type of breaks were a pattern for this kind of nessus relationship, but my "primal" instincts are off the chart and I don't think I can go much longer without intimacy... As time goes on, I see less and less of a reason not to hook up with someone new. Not having sex is BORING ME!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ahem, there i go venting again  IP: Logged |

How are you doing? I would like to be by your side as you go though this if only in this limited way.
I respect how you are handling this so much.I have not talked to my mother in 4 months.She tries to call but I won't take it.I finally feel better.I finally have my identity back.I don't want to take the chance she will pull me down again as she seems to NEED to do.

I'm doing okay. A lot of stress. Mom is a handful, but I'm managing. The memories don't bother me so much because I pushed away really hard in the past. I have my freedom and my feet solid on the ground. I am cautious, and I feel bad about that, but hey, I'm human right? IP: Logged |

Hi Ami: It's not about mom so much as it is about me and my feeling balanced. I was honestly prepared for her to die, but life has taken a different course now. I am doing this despite any response she would have. If I had to do it a distance I would. Mom seems genuinely happy to see us when we are there. I think she is experiencing her own life changing moments. I just want to have a positive role at this point in my life.

Will do. So far our interactions (email/text) has been very positive. We are planning on hanging out, it just hasn't happened yet because of our schedules and personal situations. There is a good vibe between us and I look forward to seeing him whenever that happens... but my restlessness doesn't have much to do with libra. It's in me and it's personal. It's funny that I am waiting to protect myself from some verbal assault or some snide remark, then I realize that was the past and we have changed, life has changed... I know it's hard for her, but mom is doing good because she is alive. Seeing her in her hospital bed everyone was sure she would not last 24 hours. So each time I think to complain, I realize we are in the midst of a miracle, and my fears or past hang-ups have no place here now.IP: Logged |

Well, I am healing by crying, it seems. There seem to be layers of pain like a layer cake. When I cry,it hurts so much that I feel I can't bear it but then I feel better.Tell me, Sweetie, do you still feel the resentment toward your mother or has that all evaporated?
I would be so interested to know as I have not had the experience you have.
