I'm really only trying to help things along here, I don't really need to talk for my own sake, if you know what I mean, but to help the reading I am happy to. I'm in a state of mind where I can talk about my past without getting too emotionally affected by it. Something it taught me, I guess, the emotion switch. Although that is something else I am undoing, even though I love being able to shut down, it's causing me problems in relationships that just aren't worth it. I can't be in love as long as I have the ability to disconnect, it's all or nothing with me, so I'm in the process of getting rid of that, and allowing myself to feel it all.

Yes, to the inner strength. I've courted death several times, but always been able to pull myself back eventually. There is a part of me that refuses to die - perhaps this is strength?

My mother, my mother ... incidentally, my Moon is in Virgo, and my mother is a Virgo/Libra cusp Sun. Anyway, during my childhood my mother was very busy - she worked long hours as a nanny, other people's children saw her more than we did. She would be gone in the morning before I awoke, and home at 7ish, apart from the two night a week she had band practice, in which case I was usually in bed before she got home. Every second weekend I spent time wth my stepfather's family, so I saw my mother a couple of nights per week, every second weekend, and on some holidays, although she worked many of them too due to the nature of her job.
