Q: How so?

Knight of Rods- This further expands on the previous card...bit of a loner, searching out your path, however you continually search for your ideal partner.

Q: What sort of person would that be? (I’ve never been good at making such choices. Or, is the ideal part of 'ideal' partner the problem?)

You have a sort of vision quest before you…Are an artist of sorts?

Q: Can you say more about the vision quest? Is this all to unfold within 2011?

[Yes, I’m a writer, but stuck and not writing. No get up and go, teaching seems to take up most of my time. Everything else seems to take priority.]

The Hierophant- This card is indicating that for you to move ahead you will have to join some sort of institution, it can be religious or even just school, but there are rules and traditions that you need to follow to get ahead on your path.

Q: Could it be a writing class? Really, can’t imagine what else it could be, unless some surprise opportunity/spiritual path is coming.

The Lovers- Hmm this is a it puzzling to me. It's in the position indicating the help you will receive and I'm inclined to say that it is a person, perhaps your lover (if you are in a relationship) or someone that you feel very close too, like joined-at-the-hip kind of person.

Q/A: Can you say more about that? I’ve no lover/boyfriend or any joined-at-the-hip friendships, so is that on the way?) Is the card suggesting that there is a partner coming and that this person might also provide help? Or, perhaps simply a mentor or new friend coming? If so, is it within 2011?

The Hermit- The outcome/resolution will be having to withdraw for a while...

Q: What would withdrawal look like?

And yes ideals could very much be a problem because you are seeing more of what you want and less of what is actually there

The quest could be something as simple and complicated as searching for the truth, the idea is that you are searching for 'clearer vision'

Since the question is about the rest of 2011 then I would say yes it is within it, not to say that they won't help you in the future but it will start in 2011, and I believe that help will come in the form of a partner...

You are under some kind of pressure and facing choices that feel like they are burdening you. I believe this has to do with money on large part. While six of Discs generally represents generosity and philanthropy, I'm getting the feeling you're being stingy lately or perhaps it's the complete opposite where you are giving waaay too much away. You feel old a bit weary...like everyone depends on you too much and then to top it off tells you, you are weak. However your compassion makes you strong. There were a lot of choices in your past...a dream that you wanted to achieve, one that you hold on a pedestal. Knight of Cups tells me you are still searching...a lover maybe? You want to feel and love but are scared of getting hurt. Your fear will make you rather harsh, always looking for some hidden agenda in a person rather than letting them and yourself be open to each other.

The one of Discs indicated wealth, financially and otherwise. New opportunities that can be developed. Im not sure specifically what it refers to but I'm thinking/feeling this is the base of your question. I say that also because of the Sun following it (how you saw yourself). Something was happening that that made you feel extremely happy, like a you were a beacon of light and shining brilliance out from within. Maybe this was school or a relationship, again I'm not certain. I'm looking at the 8 of Rods and thinking that you rushed ahead perhaps without planning properly and now (ten of cups) you are ready to make a commitment. Particularly to a relationship I would think but in general to ideas and values.
The fruits of your labor will be answered (er..not sure if that is a correct phrase...never the less) Ten of discs stands for an accumulation of wealth, it could be money, family...basically the end of a journey after much work. Again it seems some commitment is to be made, most likely to a relationship. The Ten of cups is very family oriented to me, like the newly married couple that has a baby on the way and is committed to working through all the hardships ahead. The Hierophant is always a little difficult for me...my feeling is that this 'commitment' may in fact be to finishing your education (if you are still pursuing a degree) and in regards to a relationship to contemplate it seriously and do what you feel is right based on tradition. Tradition seems to be a very key important thing here. Doing things the way they have been done, doing them the way they should be done. You will look to your past and what has come before you to make your decision.
The ultimate outcome will be that you will find the right balance to working within groups. Family, work, and so forth. I'm seeing that recurrent idea of family, I'm curious as to why? Do you want to start one? or is your family and family tradition a big part of your life? or both? Nevertheless it seems to be important in the reading so some answers may lie there for you.

Have you begun from scratch lately? Completely altered your way of life spontaneously? Something most would call foolish and few would call wise and some would call it daring....In any case the world around you looks like it's full of choices (hanged man) and you feel like you can't make anyone happy. So you end up stuck many times, unsure of where and how to move. You fear problems that you have no control over, that you cannot solve with a pragmatic mind.
