To answer your question, it seems like your deeper question is,"How can you make it better or work out?"
I don't think you can control that. I think you will be propelled to interact int eh way the aspects show. We, all, are. You will grow and change from forcing yourself to be "you", not a perfect "you", as your question implies  I think you want to morph yourself so you can HAVE him. That won't work. It is impossible.
This is what I see happening. Your victim self is super shaken up by him. It is gonna happen. It is written in the stars, so to speak, for this to happen. You can't
control it.

Well, the 12th house planets are a challenge. However, some people have easy charts and are not forced to develop depth. What is better? Who knows? I think about this, but you will be forced to develop inner resources cuz your 12th house planets want to turn inward, as a child facing against the wall. It will take a lot of effort to turn that child forward and have him direct himself,outward.That is the biggest dilemma with 12th house planets. You are so sweet. How would you like to continue? Why don't YOU ask me questions and we will see how that style goes. ------------------

OK---the victim thing. This is how I see it. YOU are usually the strong assertive one. If anyone is gonna have more power in a relationship, it will be you. Am I right?
SO, with this man, it has flipped. YOU are the scared one who wants to please him. You are the one who is afraid he will leave. You prolly feel "out of control" cuz this is new for you

I, also, see why you feel so vulnerable. YOUR chiron conjuncts his Venus. The Chiron person goes to the planet person for healing. As such, the Chiron person is the more vulnerable one.------------------
