Sidebar: It's important to read all the aspects between the planets to really see the full situation. In regards to timing first aspects happen first, then later aspects - you are left with the end result of the final aspect.

Chart 3: Moon/Mars Aspect - is that in 10 counts? Would you say weeks or months? I go purely by the aspect charts at this point - so I did not read about that coming together - must practice more!

Chart 5: Why is it bad that he is exalted, cazmi, and in his own house? I read this as he was to into himself to be bothered? Hmm, this is interesting about the Sun, someone else I assume? So the changing of signs in 3 degrees likely means a change of mind about the querent. Also, of we take the Sun to be another woman - we change it back to him in regards to the square with the moon? i.e. When we assign beings/people to the planets is okay to change them back for timing or overall reading purposes?

--

Finally, in regards to timing - I've gone by this - do you find this to be accurate? (assuming ASC is done by location of house in the particular chart not what the sign is normally designated.):

Time Factor
The amount of time involved can be found by counting the number of degrees between Significators for an aspect to be exact. Time is measured in days, weeks, months, years or unknown according to the quality of the sign the Signifcator of the querent is in, and its house occupancy. In a cardinal sign and angular house, time is in days; in a cardinal sign and succedent house, time is in weeks; in a cardinal sign and cadent house, time is in months. If the Significator is in a fixed sign and angular house, time is in months; in a fixed sign and succedent house, time is in years; in a fixed sign and cadent house, time is unknown. If the Signifcator is in a mutable sign and angular house, time is in weeks; in a mutable sign and succedent house, time is in months; in a mutable sign and cadent house, time is in years.

First, we look to the two signifiers - they must have an applying aspect. The aspects must then either have mutual reception or somehow be in each other's houses - could you explain more the difference between these too? What do we prefer? To be exalted? Or in each other's houses? (Obviously, both - but of the two?) These also general designate feelings more than action.

The aspects need not always have mutual reception (in the case of conjunctions and trines). Sextiles do need some supporting reception. Hard aspects - Squares NEED good reception. Oppositions almost always mean No. However, if the planets are opp each other along the MC/IC axis + with mutual reception, it could lead to a yes but with a lot of hard work.

1H ruler in the 7th is common. Usually look for 7H ruler in the 1st to see if the quesited's interested. I'm not sure about the difference between houses and exaltation.

I like my planets to be dignified, if not dignified, then atleast peregrine. Debility is a NO. Making a trine/conjunction to the quesited's significator who I'd like to see in my exaltation. Domicile means the quesited is debilitated/weak. I don't mind if their planet is in my 1st.

Second, we look to the moon, we want her to be interacting with the signifiers - primary is strong, tertiary is okay. What is the difference between interaction between primary and tertiary? Moon VOC is actually not just in 27-3 degrees, but when she is making aspects etc. Also watch for her being in Via Combusta.

If there's no aspect between the primary significators, we look for an aspect from Moon to the quesited's primary significator.

When it comes to tertiary significators, Sun and Venus go together. A trine/sextile between Sun/Moon is also good. A square with reception works with some effort. Conjunction = combustion -- NO! Cazimi - YES. Oppositions work when along the 10th/4th axis with reception. I ignore the tertiary significators unless I see a Sun/Moon or Venus/Sun aspect.

After Moon has made her last aspect in a sign, she becomes void. And aspect = to the remaining 6 planets. The outer planets don't count. we're blind to them.

quote:

Third, we look at the tertiary symbols to see sexually what is going on. Sidebar, if there is a Venus or Mars in the 7th house or Aries or Libra intercepted and the question is about cheating - you are most definitely being cheated on.

I don't look at the tertiary symbols till I see something important, maybe cheating or when the rest of the chart looks hopeless and I see a ray of sunshine, atleast, in the form of sex.

Again, Depth thank you for the in depth analysis. You are a ROCKSTAR - HUG! (I may leave these charts up as long as this thread is at the top - so others can learn, I really feel that this is a great discussion - THANKS AGAIN!)

You've summarized horary astrology very well. Precise and concise.
I wonder if you've Jupiter/mercury aspect, you exaggerate a lot. :P I'm not a rockstar. Just an intermediate. Still learning. But still thanks (HUGS)

Okay so its actually the querent's planet you want exalted and the other planet in the querent's sign our exaltation. Thanks for clarifying that - I believe this is the confusion in Chart 5

Okay so moon is actually secondary when the first one doesn't work out and its the moon with the quesited's signifier.

So how does Mars then play into this if its the Sun and Venus? Do we just ignore Mars, or is it Mars if its a guy and Sun and Moon? I am confused about the Cazimi - because its between 0-17 degrees, what's the difference then between that and conjunction?

And yes, I have a Jupiter/Mercury conjunction but in a very loose orb of 12 degrees or so - they are really just in the same sign and house. HA! I am assuming you have some Virgo though or Capricorn with this humility. :P But really I am appreciative, because you have gone out of your way. I hope you enjoyed it too!

When the quesited's significator is domicile by sign and house, it means he/she is least bothered about the querent. Self-absorbed at the moment.

Cazimi means 'in the heart of the Sun'. But if we take Sun, in this case, to be another woman, the definition translates into 'the woman's heart'. And the reception between Mars and Sun gets me....

If Sun is a 3rd person, the querent is likely to have a confrontation/an unpleasant meeting with her. If not, then there will be a clash between her and his ego/mojo.

You don't change back anything. The planet either represents a certain person or the astrologer is unsure.

I'm terrible at timings and none of those sites have helped me so far.

Ignore Mars till you see it playing an important role - primary significator, cheating partner, or bringing about translation/collection of light or prohibiting two planets from making an aspect..

Cazimi happens when a planet is within 0'17 minutes of arc.

Example of cazimi :
Sun at 5'13, Mercury at 5'24
5.24
-5.13
-------
0.11 < 0.17
0'11 < 0'17 Therefore, Cazimi

Example of combustion :
Sun at 5'13, Mercury at 5'34
5.34
-5.13
-------
0.21 > 0.17
0'21 > 0'17 Therefore, combustion

Anything more than 0'17 but less than or equal to 8'30 is combustion.

I bet you cheated. I've a Virgo Moon, 1H Saturn and chart ruler, Uranus, conjunct Neptune in Capricorn. :P Mars, rules my 3rd and I have Saturn sextile Mars.

Horary's my favorite branch of astrology. I don't find the rest that challenging and interesting but horary is like *swoons*

Thanks for the Cazimi explanation - got it now!

And yes, I like horary too - too many logic puzzles as a child...also incredibly mathematical and seemingly precise considering.

Nope, no cheating here, just sensing/intuiting. My Mars is in Virgo - so I can see the signs. Venus and Saturn are in a very loose orb but in a different sign.

PS, You are stuck on this cheating theme - eh? BOO! I hope it heals. HUG!

Damn, I didn't notice this...uggh...Now's that's virgoan sharpness which I lack. I guess I'm doing too many charts on cheating partners.

Nah, my venus/north node conjunction is adamant about teaching me life lessons through relationships. Won't heal that soon. :P

Hey, imeanj! I just read through this whole thread and it looks like you've already got a lot of good information. Is there something specific you wanted me to try answering, or just give my opinion on some of the charts you posted?

Just wanted to see if you had any insights to add or any other hints.

The questions we have not answered. Like what does it mean when the moon and the querent aspect? Or timing - no one seems to be able to pinpoint timing. Or would you mind giving you own analysis on Chart 4 - we weren't sure about a lot of things, there...

Thanks!

EDIT: Took the charts down - so no worries, thanks Kay for looking!

Oh, okay! I'm sorry I couldn't respond sooner.. I've been very busy here the past few days and just came to check them tonight. If it's any help, when I did initially glance at the charts you posted and read responses, I did agree with most of what I saw and also thought that she will find love (if that's what chart 4 was). I didn't save any of them though, but you can try me again in the future if you'd like my opinion on another one.
