I have a weird request ( or may be not so weird )

I've always been drawn to the occult.

All this time I had a deck sitting at home and out of the blue I was suddenly drawn to try my hand at tarot. I have done both virtual and real readings and tbh it's really taking by surprise how much I can pick up,although I have noticed I received a lot of info and intuitive feelings that I don't know how to process them.

So I would like to request any advice or tips/pointers that you can give me.

If someone would be kind enough to pull a few cards for me to see if am good at it and what should I do to get a firmer grasp on my readings,I would be really grateful.

Yes, I do think that the tarot agrees with me in that you are a great tarot reader.

You can become an authority on that area, and with the Ace of Swords AND the Ace of cups there you have the talent of intuition, knowledge and compassion, maybe even healing.
BTW did you ever have an out-of-body experience?

From the minor arcanas interestingly the 5 of swords came up.
Which shocked me quite a bit, but somehow made sense, if I think back of that horrid visions I once had about a gruesome murder (and which later on turned out to be true, unfortunately).

I don't know what I experienced till now TBH, it was a dream but not a dream although I was sleeping. I sometimes feel like I am spending too much time in Limboland. LOL
That in between-area between sleep and wakeness, though it is not the deep astral level, but yeah, anyway.

What you experiences sounds very much like some sort of astral experience (the astral is vast in my experience, and communication with your higher Self can take on many forms, and actually it doesn`t even matter how it is called. I believe this sort of consciousness is called by many names, and might express itself in many forms, for you it was a tiger.

I found that very very interesting, cause when I was in a meditation once (it started as a game for me, found in a book, but you donīt start something like that on Samhain. LOL
It took on a life of its own).

I remember every step of it, the surrounding like it had been yesterda <(it was 2001), and a the end of it, when I was in that forest, sitting by a pond, watching the Phoenix on the little island in front of me, this tiger came up to me (though in my case it was orange). I had met him before but was afraid of him, but not when I was sitting there.
He belonged to me, and he would never do me any harm, I knew all at once. And so we were just sitting side by side, with my hand on his head, and relaxing together, until it was time for me to get back.

The funny thing is that I am tiger in my chinese zodiac, and never really identify with it. lol

Well, in this esoteric tarot book the author asociates the set of swords (especially some cards) with out of body experiences.#

(cups are healing, wands the gift of prophesy and pentacles: manifestation)

BTW before that meditation with the tiger, as a kid even I would dream of tigers all the time (sometimes even cats), usually lying in front of the doors, but I was afraid of them.
Sometimes the tigers/ cats would change.

Yes, twice last year.

Once, not a vision, but looking out into the night, I felt like something really evil was on the prowl looking for a victim.
Later on I learned that a young boy in a city not far away had been murdered.
The most horrible thing about this is that I don`t know why I am getting these hunches, if I can`t do anything about it?

The second time was, when I sort of woke up in the middle of the vision (which happens sometimes in sleep, that I enter another level of consciousness, maybe closer to real consciousness), and was with a girl, who had been held hostage and raped, and she was standing in front of a window, totally scared and frightened, and I was screaming at her at the top of my lungs: JUMP! sounds like you are in vivid contact with your Higher Self then. As long as you feel energized, everything is fine.

Just be careful if you start having funny feelings and feeling exhausted or drained. And maybe surround yourself with a portiective bubble (visualized) before going to sleep. Sometimes when I feel the air is getting more dense, and not in the good way, I am doing that.

Maybe it is silly and I am just paranoid, but it can`t harm, right?

Actually, sometimes when there are little kids in the bus, who are crying all the time, I visualize giving or showing them colourful baloons. I never even would have thought that this stuff works, and am not sure it does (but it is a nice fantasy. lol).
However often the kids will at least for a time stop crying, and once a mother wanted to leave with her little one the bus, and while getting out he was stretching out his arms to me and crying to his mom: "Want balloons."

It is very frightening actually.

I try not to think too much about it. And focus on the sunnier pastures.

But where is light, there is shadow.
And since there is much and bright light in my life, I guess there must be quite some deep shadow as well.
It`s all about balance.

Maybe for some reason I feel a resonance with these women, because from childhood I was having dreams of being victimized myself, usually in the form of being burnt alive (I tell you when Iwas watching the name of the rose years later, I nearly got a nervous breakdown).
As a matter of fact I was born with a birthmark that looked like a big burning mark, and always was frightened of fire. Well you are, when you remember how burning flesh smells and you realize, that it is your own.
There was never any accident with fire in our family though, it just id not make any sense for me dreaming these dreams.
But my mom often jokingly remarks that I need to be careful or other people will notice that I am a witch (she does`t mean it like this).

The other nice memory in dream I have had was about being buried alive, but at least i was with the man I loved.
Anyway, when I was sitting and watching the musical "Aida", there was a scene very similiar to that dream of mine, too, where they are being buried alive, and I suddenly smelled some fragrance (I later asked, but they said they didn`t put anything into the air condition), and then it felt like all oxygene was being sucked out of the air, and I felt like I was literally suffocating, in the midst of a crowd in a theatre. I guess that is what you call a panic attack (not that I donīt know how these feel).
It was better after that, but suddenly I realized that there might be a reason why I usually see this particular actor ONLY on open air stages. Free and open spaces. Might be a reason for that, that I didn`t investigate any further.

Sorry I am babbling. I just want to say I have always had an amazing dreamlife. Sometimes scary, sometimes nice.
And I am sensing many things. Maybe most of it is just imaginationa nd fantasy. But my fantasy has guided me pretty well so far.

honestly, I didn`t want to post your reading (because of the base card).
But maybe that is just me, having wished for another card to turn up. Well, I do have a line of interpretation for it, but the instructions said that only the qurent herself is allowed to interprete the meaning of the cards (which have to be picked from the book).
So please take this with a grain of salt (I am a bit wary about the very esoteric meanings, and especially since I demand using my own head. lol)
And one warning: some of it is very esoteric, and I would lie if I said I concur with everything in it. But who am I to judge?

Am a little overwhelmed TBH.

I read your reading and I took some time to think. All major arcana cards there...

I reflected on it and it's like something is hovering around the periphery of my mind that am going to have an epiphany of some sort and I KNOW that it makes sense,the cards are connected as if each one is a compartment of a train that makes it whole. I believe this is the right time at this point of my life to have someone do a psychic spread for me. I NEVER thought of testing my psychic abilities I think it was because I was a little bit scared lol..

I am glad it resonated with you. It is supposed to do that, lead you to epiphany.
And only you can really KNOW what the 3 of swords means.

For me I was stumped when it came up for you, but then had the flash of a thought that this is maybe how you can help people. That especially people will come to you for love readings, having their heard broken, etc.
And then I had another thought and that was that swords are discriminating. The 3 of swords is very much a "No bullsh*t" card. Maybe it is part of your talent to show people the truth, even if it hurts. But this is the only way to become able to move on again and find love again.
And no matter how much I dread this card, it is still a Minor ARcana after all, right?

And yes you are right, I am holding something back, as it is probably just my weird imagination. But sometimes while shuffling images will come up in my mind, if I am connecting well to the querent.
In this case I had the feeling you had a very bright positive yellow glow to your energy, and there was a white dove above your head at first, hovering over you. A very peaceful loving image.
But then I noticed, a bit in the background, something dark, kind of watching you. His energy reminded me a bit of the "Devil" in tarot. And it naturally startled me to see him behind you, though in a distance, and I really donīt want to scare you, and probably it is just my crappy imagination anyway.

But what I wanted to say is, that while he exhibeted a certain threat, not necessarily to you as a person, but more so to the white dove hovering over you, he would not attack you.
I got the feeling he represented a certain type of temptation, that might arise on your journey.

If I should interprete this imagery I say you have a very loving pure peaceful, healing energy to you, very compassionate and kind and modest, and also gifted psychically, but that glow may attract envy (of others).
But I also feel that maybe it just represents this old saying: With great power, comes great responsibility.

I donīt know I wouldnīt have said anything but you asked me; I hope you are not upset or mad at me. (I can`t say when though, as I am having abit problems with I guess the aftermaths of an eyemigraine of yesterday and not being able to sleep, cause even when closing my eyes, it wouldnīt get dark behind them. It is actually quite startling, and I am torn between if this is something with my health, or is my mind just firing from all ends? It seems like I am currently very very close to my sub- or supraconsciousness. Maybe that is just it.).

Anyway I am glad about the feedback. To be honest I am always surprised and amazed if people tel me something from my reading came true or resonated with them.
I always feel as if I am just putting storylines together, like always. I think and breathe in fiction, I guess. Everything`s a story for me.

And sometimes tarot makes me laugh when I realize something.

Like yesterday, I was wondering why a certain guy, though still coming up in my physical proximity frequently, will not look directly in my eyes anymore (he has done that before, and I liked seeing the light in them, when he was looking at me), though I still "catch" him looking AT me, when he thinks I won`t notice, or just doing the whole darting away and back and away and back again.

(and yes, it`s true I made some mistakes in that I probably didn`t show myself as responsive, as I felt inside, just because of my inner insecurities).

Anyway long complicated story, so I was asking yesterday why he isn`t looking directly into my eyes anymore, but still popping up in my proximity.

Not wanting to go too deep into it, this night (when I couldn`t sleep cause the light did not go out behind my closed lids), I suddenly saw the three cards together again, and noticed what I had not realized before. All three cards show a hand holding either a sword or a wand, and especially in case of the sword cards, the swords are being directed upwards.
I actually looked through my tarot cards to see if swords are usually directed upwards, and no, of course they are not. Actually mostly they are directed into the earth (or a person or through a heart),s o I found that interesting.

It made me think about different lines of interpretation with swords card. There certainly will be a difference if they are directed up or downwards.

Just sharing my thoughts, but that is how thse cards and images are working within me.

I just sat down and focused on your energy, and interestingly there unfolded an image behind my eyes in respect to you as well (it doesn`t always happen, but it did now).

Your energy/ colours felt a light, but rich blue and yellow to me. You were standing in front of a pond with clear crystalblue water. And you were wearing a cloak, and several people, especially children and youthful people, sort of "hid" under that cloak, but it was a slit open so they could leave your protection whenever they wanted.
Almost like you gathered stray and tired souls, giving them a space to rest and offering them protection and nurturing (the water) before they would return to their responsibilities (their life) again.
There was a great benevolence and calmness around you, but there was also a bit of mischief and wish for enjoyment and pleasure written in your face.
A blend of spiritualism and indulging in earthly pleasures so to speak.
I found it interesting though that your gaze, most of the time was looking at the far horizon, as if there was something else, somewhere else you were longing to, or maybe supposed to go at a time, or something or someone coming (back) to you.
It actually reminded me of the 3 of wands.
All that happened while I was having my eyes closed and shuffled.
