I pulled 4/Spades, Ace/Clubs, 5/Spades as your core reading. Clarifiers are 5/Hearts, 6/Diamonds, 6/Clubs, 3/Clubs.From this, I get that this is a newish relationship - less than a year, so you're still learning about each other? - and that the two of you have been bickering a bit (or chafing each others' nerves?). 6/Diamonds confirms this for me. 5/Hearts tells me that there's a third person involved, but I don't get the sense at all that it's someone he's interested in, like a romantic interest; rather, it's someone in his sphere that, like, encourages his minor frustrations with you - tries to 'make mountains out of molehills' - in an effort to put a permanent wedge between the two of you. However the 5/Spades assures that these obstacles are temporary and I get the strong sense the two of you will overcome them. The 3/Clubs promises love & happiness, a successful union; second chances. I get the feeling these are relative to the two of you, not you and anyone else. Hope this helps! Thank you! You're right, I mean we even bickered today to the point I ended up crying out of frustration..which is what led me to asking the question in the first place. I don't know who the third person could be, but I have a gut feeling it's probably a friend of his.. or possibly even a mutual friend. I hope you're right about your feeling of us making it through this, as it's really only been the past two weeks that have been most frustrating. I can update you on here when I know more, but for now I'd say you're accurate. I'm going to draw cards for you now but just wanted to confirm that S is a love interest for you?

Oh, interesting.. well he does have a younger sister that (I think) is an older teenager, but I've never met her .. I'm sure it'll come to light if that's the case though. Alright, I'm doing yours now!

whitewitch, I'm getting that a baby is indeed imminent (within the next twelve months?). The cards aren't telling me so, but I'm seeing a baby boy - happy, silly, bright, playful, inquisitive. However, the cards tell of some strife between you and your current mate, possibly financial in origin. I'd encourage you to begin now getting your financial ducks in a row (should there be issues, because I get more than one card indicating financial stress between you) in an effort to sidestep the potential for this issue.Hope this helps! Okay, I did a five card spread to assess both of your feelings and got the following: 8 of wands, 8 of hearts, ace of hearts, 5 of wands, 10 of pentacles. I would say that he has romantic feelings for you, maybe even overwhelmingly so, but I get the sense that he is ready to move forward with you but that you perhaps weren't ready when he brought it up? Maybe I'm missing the mark here, but with 8 of cups here for your feelings, I get the validation that you weren't happy for some reason and have chosen to walk away. Looking to the 5 of wands, it seems as if you felt misunderstood by him and were/are angry as a result of this.. another possibility is that you simply saw him as being selfish..either way, I see there were definitely disagreements between you two. With Ace of cups, it reinforces what I said earlier about his depth of feeling for you.. I believe that he sees you as someone he can be with long-term. With 10 of pentacles as the outcome, I'm inclined to say that things between you will likely work out afterall.. but you two need to get on the same page before this can happen. Another way to look at it would be a conclusion of the relationship itself.. but either way, I get the feeling it is ultimately up to you because his feelings appear to be quite strong for you. It resonates a great deal. We certainly haven't argued at all - I adore him, and I truly believe he adores me - but he's currently doing some traveling and some emotional healing (not related to me) while I complete school, which sometimes just makes me insecure. I do have trepidations, but mainly because I want him to be ready - for real ready, to commit TO ME - before we commit (which is a question I sometimes feel coming, but it hasn't come up yet). I care for him tremendously. I want this to be forever.Any thoughts on this? EDIT: Actually, I should probably clarify a bit...I have considered walking away just because these feelings are so incredibly overwhelming to me. I'm completely unaccustomed to being so vulnerable to someone. Not that I don't trust him with my heart ultimately, just that I'm scared. I have plenty of opportunities to date other men, be physical with other men, etc...but none turns my head the way he holds my heart. So I'm overwhelmed. IP: Logged |

Holy Batman, wait just a second! He asked me earlier this week if he could go to my graduation. My initial response was, "...why would you want to do that?" Not because I didn't want him there - I was THRILLED he even considered it - but just because we haven't established that this is a relationship, and we haven't even met each others' families yet, so I was taken aback that he would offer to be a part of what is, for me, a personal triumph. ...could that be the misunderstanding you see? His response was, "well you wouldn't have to introduce me in any specific way..." I (of course!) clarified, told him I'd be thrilled to have him there, but felt TERRIBLE...please tell me this is reversible...  IP: Logged |

I'm glad it resonated with you! I was leaning more towards it working out with you two because the feelings are there, so maybe the best course of action would be to have the talk when you feel the timing is right. I believe the 10 of pentacles is a good card to have in a relationship reading as an outcome, so I think as long as you communicate your needs, all will turn out fine. I wish you well!

Ooph! Well that would certainly make sense.. I'd say that since you clarified that you'd love to have him there, that should be enough. It all goes back to having to have "the talk" though.. speaking from my own experience with D, I understand how awkward it can be in situations like that lol. I think you'll be fine though..
