Yes, law professors don't usually like to be questioned by intelligent and inquiring minds. A shame that, because we could all grow from that. This was my biggest issue in college, btw. I just felt so demotivated by what I thought would only fuel my passion for justice, law and order. I'm glad I'm out of those classes and away from such people, tbh. Too much pomp for too little good deeds.

Hi Filleaspirant,

The hypnotist was really cool and I felt so relaxed afterwards that even the traffic on the road was no big deal. She said it will stay with you. I saw a dog (a Bassett hound) while under. I've never had a dog before--maybe a sign to come. I also saw a golden wind chime--wonder if that was what made the pretty sounds of the music that she played. It was very interesting and worth my time and nickel.

Any Mr. Leo sightings today?

The doctor's appointment went well and when I mentioned the hypnotist, he knew immediately (relaxation) what one of the reasons were for my going there. I think he's also realizing that even though the people he works for dictate volume to pay their bills and then some, he can't push stuff on people and expect them to come back.
He seemed friendly, but now realizes that it isn't mutual (moth and flame attraction) as your cards saw. I shared the article I found and he liked it because one of the authors had a PHD. He was still pushing the one medicine, but I convinced him otherwise to let me take what really helps and is not a band aid so to speak.

Sorry I haven't been around lately. The civil service exams are coming and I've been dedicating a lot of time to them and not coming around here much. I've seen Mr Leo since we last spoke almost daily and I think things are slowly, slowly progressing. They would probably go faster if I'd just come out and tell him I like him, but I'm not sure I would be able to do that and save face if he turned me down.

And I'm glad everything is turning out for the better for you, health wise. Perhaps now that the doctor realizes that the friendliness isn't mutual, he will back off you. Fingers crossed here.

I thought that your studying was taking center stage. Best wishes on that. Maybe ask Mr. Leo what kind of movies he likes. If he picks the same genre you like and you know of one that is out that you're also interested in, mentioned it and then say "Would you like to go watch it with me?" That comes across with less pressure and more like buddies.

I had a rough day health wise the other day, but have cut out more fruit and now things are better. I've been doing some home painting, so haven't been here as often either. I won't see the doctor for three months, so maybe he will give up by then.
I have transiting Jupiter squaring my natal Venus right now till the middle of next month, so I'm meeting a few of them. I told the last one I already have someone--I feel like I do anyways even if it will be a while.

Hi Spring,

So funny that you suggest I do something he himself has tried already! A couple of weeks ago, we were talking about movies and I said I'm a crazy movie afficionada. Later on, he came around and asked me to rec a movie on the theaters to him and I, silly nerdy me, told him that I couldn't because I wasn't keeping up with what was on show since I've been studying so much for the exams. I had thought nothing of him asking me for a movie rec but the moment I said "busy studying", he deflated, the poor thing, and muttered something like, "right, of course, you need to study, of course." So damn cute.

Having said that, I'm not sure now is the right time, as I've been having recurring dreams about the things I've been studying, about answering questions and etc. Today I had a dream (more like nightmare, lol) where I had to answer if a certain situation was a case of previdenciary substitution or succession and I woke up confused and startled because I couldn't remember the difference between each institute. I'm probably not the best company to keep as of right now, LOL.

Oh, not happy to hear you've been feeling down, Spring. You need to take care of yourself, especially because of stress and your depleted energy. I'm glad, though, to hear that you're already turning this around for your better good.

It's the Virgo anxiety, Spring. I wish I could turn my brain off sometimes, but alas I can't. :-/

I need some time off too but the exams are close now, 2, 3 weeks away, so I'm going to keep this pace going for a little longer and slow down a bit after them. Fingers crossed I'll do well on one or both of them.

I'm seeing Mr Leo tomorrow so that ought to cheer me up a bit. Might let him know how stressed I am and see if he thinks of a way to unwind. *wriggles eyebrows*
