I will say no, he does not want to break up with you. He feels secure with you.

I think both of you will have a clear communication, where you stand your ground, you will be more calm, and he will talk to you too, byt he will be more childish, only to finally realize that he is okay being with you, he is really okay. He will start doing an effort in your relationship, will start growing up. -----Also, I think you should give him some space and be more confident, in you, in him and in the relationship.

The sudden pullback I think it was because you came off to him as too passionate, "too much", thats why he told you about the space.

For Monday, I see some disagreements between the two of you. Maybe he will use some rude words, childish words. But in the end, you will both realize you love each other, you will both start to trust your feelings
