It does feel like he came away from the experience with a sense of attachment to you, but I'm not sure his response is the same as yours. While yours feels like a sort of 'romantic' thing, his feels...different. Something more substantial that is hard to explain to someone who sees him in a romantic light because it's nothing to be disappointed about at all, but your corporeal response is likely to be that.

I think he's very aware of the fact that you're on different paths; that he isn't willing to leave his, so asking you to leave yours would be unfair - unbalanced. With that knowledge, he walked away with only fond memories which he put into a box. He pulls them out occasionally, smiles, then puts them back in and closes the box.

I don't feel like you've seen him for the last time or heard from him for the last time; I do feel like it will be a very long time before you hear from him again. Not just months; probably not even 'just a couple of years'.

Thank you. I had hoped when you first read when you said you saw him reaching out but not soon that it meant a few months. So yes it does make me sad because he did make a big impact with me and I had hoped for something with him.

This has been a crazy couple of weeks...seems several people from my past are resurfacing. Some I expected as I don't think I will ever be rid of them and others have been a surprise. Like M....he was a shock and has disappeared again already. LOL

The other one who has surprised me is F. What are his thoughts and what does he really want?
