1. I have this weird sun/mercury conjunction at the apex of that yod-looking thing. How would this translate? I'm only ever used to seeing one planet at the apex in the charts of other people.

2. Is my mercury considered combust??? I've read that mercury combust is not such a desirable thing to have

I'm going through a pretty crappy relationship situation (I posted about it here, if you are interested: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/006494.html ) and I noticed in my 2016/2017 SR the Sun is in my 12th house, which I understand can indicate a difficult year (understatement!)...

But... in my 2017/2018 SR.... My AC falls on 15 Libra, and my part of marriage is also 15 Libra. ALSO also, the sun/moon midpoint of the guy in question is at 15 Libra. Is this at all significant?? Jupiter falls right on the AC, which is the ruler of my chart, and his...and our composite chart... I've also read that Jupiter on the AC isn't always so lucky and I'm starting to get scared.

I'm a total amateur, but all of this is just....screaming in my face. My lunar declination is going to hit a super low right around then ( http://i.imgur.com/7osioq8.gif ) Should I just go hide underground??? I feel like I should just go hide underground...

I'm not necessarily asking for a tarot reading, because I'm too much of a novice at everything to return the favor, but I did buy myself some tarot and oracle cards, mainly just to help with meditation, but I am just waaaay too close to this situation to detach enough for guidance. Or, maybe I just do not have the potential.

I did ask my psychic about my situation, and she said "Typical soul mate behavior. I don't see him turning this around until....March." She advised me not to talk to him or his friends, otherwise he'd just push me away.... butttt.... I did, because I was so mad at the time I kind of didn't care if I ever saw him again, so... I'm thinking I screwed that up.

I suppose any of my questions could be, if he were to contact me, when can I expect this? Or, what would I have to do in order to repair our situation? Or...this fling from his work... does she know about his STD?? If you pick up anything related to any of those issues, I'd be grateful to know.

Then the first card out come so it is the atmosphere around your question. Justice indicates that there are either questions of honesty involved or a kind of karmic contract (debt) and that we must find or find a balance in this relationship because it has been broken. This is the "cause and effect". There are undoubtedly truths to be recognized and responsibilities to be taken. To do what is right you have to accept some responsibility and tell the truth, be honest.
I think that for him you are the Queen of wands (seductive, popular, cheerful, cheerful, open and sincere). The 9 of cups indicates the fulfillment of a wish and satisfaction. The possibility of a dream becoming a reality. Page of pentacle is about making projects real, finding solutions that work with a realistic approach, attracting to oneself what one needs or proving to others that one can be reliable and respect oneself Commitments. It can also be him in the situation and indicates a person who likes to have the enjoyment of his body and take his chances.
So all this put together, I say yes he will come back and this process implies that he will work to be reliable and responsible, capable of stability as he looks "young" in his mind and enjoys enjoying what life brings to him. Well.... when I've read for myself, I've had the Queen of Wands show up as my crossed card (while I was at work, I was wondering if she would show up!!!), and she showed up again in a 12 month reading for May...which is the time he claimed to have strayed again, so all this time I've been assuming the Queen of Wands was the other girl. Although, I do have lots of fire in my chart...

AW is younger than me, and I do think he has been insecure about his ability to provide for another person. Almost like he hates himself for not being able to be "more of a man".

Another time I read, his card was crossed by the 10 of Pentacles....and while I am not 100% down with all the meanings, sometimes I just stare at the cards until things start coming into my head. His family is very....money oriented, and although he's not motivated by money, I think he has some financial ideals he's inherited from his family (for example, you should have so much money saved before getting married, etc). He does seem very preoccupied with his education and advancing his career, at least....that's what I picked up.

I've pulled Justice as well, as a final outcome. But I always worry I'm seeing what I want and not the truth. Like I mentioned in my thread over in the interpersonal astro. forum, I'm really trying to tap into my intuition, although I lack any sort of teacher or mentor so my methods might be suuuuper unorthodox, haha.

I certainly haven't hid anything from him, but I never got the real truth from him, either. My wish has been that we could sit down and he could finally come clean and we could just repair things after he manages to pull that thorn out of himself.

I didn't mean to be intrusive, it's just I'm interested in people who also practice! I'm certainly not confident enough to do timing, so hopefully other people will give it a shot. If not, it's okay. I need to stop freaking out about this.

I'd say you have a sun-moon-Vesta yod. I don't really know how to interpret that except perhaps 1H Sag Vesta puts a kind of warm grandeur in your style of devotion, and the moon-Vesta sextile gives you confidence based on the certainty of your inherent value (2H moon contributes to that feeling), and this supports your emotional nature. While you may be private or subjected to heavy trials, there is this baseline of assurance that you will survive okay....

And I say that after talking to you and knowing you to be this way. Not trying to cheat ...I think I would have interpreted it this way even without talking to you.

They aren't combust, the orb has to be tighter for that. Ami Anne has been saying a lot about the combust and cazimi, while mostly every other astrologer on this board has disagreed with her. She takes up more space on the internet because of her private site and for other reasons, therefore some of her theories stand, by virtue of their saturation level.

I've never seen a chart like that and can't even determine what it's saying.

As for whether or not you should go underground, it's up to you and your feelings...my moon is at 0° declination natally, and I am pretty reclusive.

But don't be scared. I could tell you so many stories about all the interesting things that have happened to me, correlated with astrological phenomena. If you are intent on monitoring your own inner space with the most conventional means: good health practices, good music, good friends, self-care, then you are doing the best you can do, and might leave the rest to fate, with a kind of happy trust in what will come to you.

One thing I've noticed is, I seem to run into people depending on their, or my, progressions. It happens with startling regularity. Life is really strange and we always have presents waiting for us around its corners so I figure, we might as well be happy in advance. Look forward to the random things that will satiate an appetite that you don't even have yet.

I'm glad my mercury isn't combust... I like my mercury It seems to help with all the computer crap I do, and foreign languages were never hard for me.

Lately I've been embracing Vesta as well... mine is at that critical 29 degree, but I'll wonder about that another time.

Also agree with FAith, the progressed Charts are so telling esp. in Terms of activating natal potential.

Even Transits to progressed positions seem to be equally strong.

But as I said, MErcury conjunct Sun (any planet conjunct Sun is considered combust btw) works just fine!

Besides MErcury never moves further than 28 degrees from the Sun, so the possibility of combustion is rather high anyway.

It means: in the heart of the sun, and is considered - traditionally- very positive and strengthening.

Combust is any conjunction up to 8 degrees, and traditionally considered that the planet is "burned".

This Comes from medieval astrology.

However I have not found that to be true; planets which are conjunct Sun (even over 17 minutes of orb) seem to shine very strongly in the personality, it`s like the Sun really charges this planet with extra energy.

Faith, you know of Course my Mercury conjunct Sun, and P has Moon combust.
it`s always fascinating to me to see how I try to always get this intellectual analytical grasp of a Situation, analyze it, while he is mainly responding to any Situation instinctually.

This is true especially when the guard is down in People, the first Response to some Stimulus.

So my Observation is quite different from most traditional astrologers in this instance.

another friend of mine has Sun conjunct Saturn, so Saturn combust, and the Saturn shines sooooo strongly in her personality.

my Dad has Sun - widely- conjunct Jupiter (7 degrees) and Venus (9 degrees).
ONe of the most charming People I`ve ever met, with a lot of benevolence as well.

in every case I saw personally, it seemed like the planet conjunct sun was really lit up, instead of being made non-existent.
