Did he have a somewhat defensive attitude? Following your discussion, he felt very troubled with his feelings and emotions, doubting that this could happen well between you. He was probably tense and worried / anxious. Now he is distrustful of you, maybe a bit aggressive in his expression. No doubt he wants to defend his position. In any case I see that it has blocked the situtation, that he is very in control and does not want to let go of its positions ... For now.

Oh, awesome, I sensed History. For some reason I connected History to the "repairing broken things" phrase I picked up on. I'm not even sure what I meant by that myself though haha. But it seems like it lead me in the right direction. It's funny too, because I got Six of Swords in reverse, which quite literally, in this context, can be read as "Travel back in time" i.e: History!

He feels he must give up a desperate situation, he feels tired and wants to concentrate on his personal life.(but it can be how he feels you are about him !) He sees you as a direct person who does not mince her words, as you said what you want/need to say to him. He think you are honest and an intelligent woman and that you have shown confidence face to face with him. You have done like a thunderclap in his life and jostle or even annihilate the defenses of his ego, shook his routine. You have created an emotional crisis in his life. However, he thinks you are a very attractive, energetic, assured person and he appreciates your optimism in general. This one was very, very difficult for me, because I find that my future spreads are really messy. So, please do take it all with a grain of salt. I think perhaps you yourself are more equipped than me to know what these cards actually speak about in regards to you.

Four of Wands(R), Justice(R), Hierophant
Empress(R), Two of Swords(R), Strength(R)
Temperance(R), Tower(R), Ten of Wands(R)

I think you will be focusing on your home in some way during this year. It could be something about your accommodation that isn’t quite right. Some legal documents? A divorce? Do you live by yourself? If so, I don’t think you’re very happy with that. Do you long to get married? Get more security in your love life? If you don’t have kids already, maybe you feel like your biological clock is ticking, which is creating an atmosphere of pressure. I sense that maybe you will go into counseling, as well. I believe you have stuff around you that need to be taken care of before you start a new relationship. Perhaps next year will be a better time to meet someone (I pulled Two of Wands as a clarifier). I do think you might have some brief encounter with a person who you initially think is good for you (Temperance), but since you got Tower and Ten of Wands(R) as an outcome, this situation may leave you feeling dissatisfied.

This spread is difficult though, because there are few literal Love Cards and I’m a bit too inexperienced to interpret non-love cards in regards to relationship prospects. It could be that you’re very picky when choosing a partner, which makes you seem less approachable. Or that you think that you’re not "good enough”, which is making you lose faith in that the one actually will show up. The thought of that is very heavy to bear for you. But you got both Empress and Strength even though they are in reverse, so i think that is your potential. To be both of these lovely ladies in one. Turn them upright in a true Girl Power sense and blossom in Yourself. It could be that you’re projecting a harsh exterior because you’ve been waiting so long for the one and you’re all like: Ughhhhh. When will he come. I’ll just mope until he does.

But generally, I think when you clear up some stuff in your direct environment. Some things you’re struggling with, you will soon open up to a great potential of meeting someone truly amazing. It’s just something with the rigidness of this Hierophant and Justice that needs to be cleared. You are both Empress and Strength. Make sure to project that to the people you encounter!

Oh, yes, a past question. Hmmm. What actually happened between me and X in the past and why did it affect me so strongly? It was like a thunderstorm in itself. Would that be possible to answer?

At first I pulled Ten of Swords and Queen of Pentacles, which immediately made me think you lost a parent. Your mother. But then I pulled a couple of clarifiers and those didn’t really talk about a situation like that: Ten of Pents, Thee of Cups(R), Eight of Swords, Ace of Cups.

This is more, losing your stability ...

This will be a real practice for me, because we have finances, family, love, friends. If you identify with Queen of Pentacles you were hurt in some way. It’s like you hit rock bottom and found yourself in a situation you didn’t know how to get out of. You got two 10s though. So something ended, which ultimately lead to a new beginning. It could be that you ended a relationship or quit your job. Maybe you lost a close friend.

I’M STRUGGLING AGAIN I have a difficult time tuning in today. My intuition isn’t telling me much right now, so I try to read all these conflicting cards and they DO NOT make sense.
