Like I "revealed" to neptunicity, in my practice since 2001, I have always attibuted Wands to Air (think of trees composed of wood getting their sustenance from the air) and Swords to Fire (think of swords being forged in fire). This system has not failed me yet, although most tarot books will say the opposite. (My guidebook/ basis of my practice: THE TAROT by Adam Fronteras, Carlton Books, 1996)

With that being said, if you keep drawing the Queen of Wands, which is AIR in my system, then J actually wanys you to be more "Air-born" (pardon the pun) like him. So play his game if you feel up to it: keep it casual, light, and carefree like Air. Why not? If you love him, you can wait for him to come right around, right?

As to the preponderance of the Fire element in this Diwata reading, well, doesn't this answer your question about the sexual part of your relationship? Three is to one= 75% chance, not 50-50 like they may say. Think FIRE. I leave the rest to your fertile-earthy imagination.

L has just opened antiques business, more specifically (genuine)Chinese porcelain antiques. It is a slow business. It has been more than 1 month and no sales yet. And we are still learning. He is lucky he got a mentor to teach him.

The fire energy: maybe the process of making the antiques. Or his passion in cooking. It is weird that he refused to open a restaurant the fact that he is a good cook.

You were right that there will be export and import activity going with his line of business.

So this time I drew a single card from the classic Rider-Waite. I got XIV Temperance.

The number 14 reduces to 5, which suggests changes and a lack of stability. Since this card corresponds to the astrological sign of Sagittarius, tbere is indeed Fire energy, yet its Mutable quality may resist being pinned down. The energies of this business may not be the real complement to the personal energies of the business owner. Many factors are involved as well.

But let's think not just outside the box. Let's think as if there were no box at all! If Liang is deeply unsatisfied with his business, what's to stop him from starting another venture on the side while still giving his antiques biz, say, another month or two, to see if it at least breaks even? With the side venture, he can find his inner passion/ what really makes him excited to get up in the morning, and build his business around that! So like the Temperance angel, he keeps one foot on the earth (material) while dipping his other foot in the waters (spiritual).

What's his passion? What service does he want to render to clients or customers? Ultimately it is up to him. You can be loving and supportive, and I hope he responds in kind.

PS Because of the predominant Fire in my original Diwata reading, the Food & Restaurant industry is truly a viable idea. Food definitely moves FASTER than antiques. Thank you for the offer but being a foreigner here I do not have a credit card. I could pay through wechat money. Do you have a Chinese friend who could accept the payment for you?

We both understand that antique is a slow business. The items in the shop now are all his mentor's and if he sells then he gets commission.

I have been trying to help him looking for new items. Problem is price has gone up but with bad economy, market buying force is low. Thus my discouragement as it is not the best time to enter the business.

Yes and yes! In terms of love life, well, my husband, who is based in the Philippines, will soon be joining me here in the US. The petition process took an entire year! He has a visa interview at the US Embassy-Manila mid-month, and hopefully he can fly over before Christmas. He is indeed younger than I am, and his Sun Sign is actually Earth, but with the Moon Sign in Water. So the cards do say it well. In a sense he is someone "new," because I haven't seen him for almost 2 years. My only question is: Why is it the Queen of Pentacles that's the 3rd card in the list but it was the Ace of Swords in the interpretation?

As to the book, you're right, I'm still undecided about a lot of things. But I will be applying for a grant, so maybe that's the news that will be slow in coming. In fact, I got the idea of writing another book from YOU, because you were asking if I had a published one, aside from my poetry book.
