It's a b*tch. And it won't be caught until it's good and ready.

Enjoy the hunt.

It was recently republished. Also, try an interlibrary loan.

Several libraries have the original text.

Gee, Randall, you almost make it sound easy.

I've heard so many people complain about the difficulty of finding that book. I don't often lapse into suspicious nonsense, but I've come to almost believe there's some sort of protective charm around it.

tried 3 times - library didn't have it, bookstore didn't have it, out of stock online - so decided it wasn't time. Meet up with it later on and skimmed thru and realized that I was right - it wasn't time. Felt the same way about "A Dweller on Two Planets" when I first bought it. That one jumped off the bookself into my lap and yet there it sits, in the corner, sullen, refusing to share it's secrets.

sometimes books play hard to get and just won't go all the way, you know what I mean?

yep, I sure do. At least you was wise enough to set it aside til you are ready. I forced my way thru it and no disrespect to Ms Goodman, but I found it a yawner... obviously, I wasn`t ready either.

Maybe on a clear day

thanks juni and randall ( and tink too )
totally understand what you mean about not being ready and it not being accessible until you are - that's happened to me with a couple of books... i didn't realize that it had been republished though so perhaps now is the right time...?

None for me thanks, I'm a recovering Catholic.

Maybe that's why it's been republished (and apparently easier to come by Behold the wonders of the internet!) Maybe it's time has come for a lot of people.

Hey, guess what?! I just now got back from my local metaphysical shop. The computers were down here at the library, so I decided to walk down there and what did I find? The Lion Path for a measly 4 bucks! How lucky am I?

Coolness.

Thanks! You too.

Well, flipping through it last night...it does seem like kind of a tough read. I can see that it had a big influence on Linda and her work too. I'll know when the time is right to jump into it.
