Randall and Charmaine....You guys are pure sweetness.
Awesome comment Xiro....

So true and you know that was and still is at times the hardest part for me....I still feel the lean toward labeling ...but I now how to navigate those waters.

I have a question for everyone....what do you think is going to happen once a sufficient amount of Egos stop playing the duality game and began to rise above it?

Great question. Less Ego should equal more Enlightenment.

Argh, D. Sometimes all the things you have taught me go through the door when I allow my emotions to get the best of me, especially anger.

Like right now, I am really annoyed with someone. The first thought is how do I approach the person about the situation without it turning into a big bang? Then you tell yourself to not approach until you're completely calm and get to the root of why it upsets you.
Then to see it from the other persons point of view.

Eventually, I am calm but the thought of the initial deed just makes me stark raving mad all over again.

In the heat of the moment all understanding and patience becomes blinded. Sorry for the rambles. You understand though.
Do I just turn off emotionally? Do I turn a blind eye and say, "They know not what they do"?

Yes....you must never speak or act out of anger...it is a destructive force in that case and can tear down the boundaries along with the walls... but doesnt give you time to clear the debris...it just leaves everything destroyed and so must be handled with care to navigate...it is a powerful emotion.....because like love..it cannot be ignored. I suppose my Arian Sun and Mars, and mutable Virgo Asc are very helpful for me there. I get angry but I can express why and talk to the person and get over it really fast.
Its not anger that is the problem Charms, its allowing it to sit in your Aura like a dark cloud that will cause you to attract more anger...til you learn how to flow with it and not hold on to it which is essentially blocking it up in our Auric feels and creating dark holes in our Aura.
Maybe it will help to not take things personally...that will keep you from getting stark raving mad...remember no one can make you feel what you don't want to feel...simple as that.

You don't turn a blind eye, nor do you make excuses for them. You simply tell them...whoever it is why what they did made you angry...if they chose to change their behavior to stay in your life then you have created a better reality and if they chose to not change then it then becomes your choice...by letting them stay in your life or kicking them the hell out...you chose your reality....so chose wisely lovey. XO

The timing of your reply is impeccable!

It isn't easy to not take it personally when it's people close to your Heart. I do understand what you mean though. Occasionally we simply need a reminder when we are torn between the Mind and the Heart and each telling us different things. The main problem is to be tactful or communicate in a manner which will not offend or seem like one is attacking the other person. For some reason this happens to me even if I'm calm and rationally discussing a problem.. I used to think such reactions were a type of manipulation people use to turn the tables and divert the issue at hand off them and onto you..making you feel like the rotten apple.

Continued..

And by people I mean in general. It's almost like an involuntary response when you want to sort out an issue.

The anger has cleared now and I will attempt to clear the air and hopefully resolve the issue at hand.
Wish me luck!
Thanks D,

Charms yay! Keep me posted...look atchu all in warrior princess mode....<3

Hey HSC..long time no talk to...
How the heck are you?
.it was just something that I entitled it due to some studying I was doing of religions that indeed taught to kill it.

I wrote this in the beginning:

"Gnani Purush's rantings of stict control of all the senses and complete destruction of the Ego..saying it is a vile servant and a source of Suffering and Evil...and this practice of brahmacharya even as it stems to all religions resonates to much with a partriarchal view of society for me. And is an attempt at control as though are the Doer.
Then you have Shankara's saying the ego is a "strong and deadly serpent".
The Tibetan way of celibacy and self discipline to break the Ego...and the Muhammads war against nafs.
Clearly not paths of self acceptance and yet we have incarnated from cycles of living lives that we now carry those imprints from."

Neither of the two. Killing the EGO is a very Herculean task. Accepting it is dangerous. Never know where that wild boar will lead me to. Just don't trust it much. SO......what i try to do is Surrender to HIS power. What about you?

He's not a former LL'er. Well, he did change his Username once not too long ago. But he's not someone from the distant past.

Well, irrespective. He/she does not need to identify him/herself to anyone.

Thanks, D!

It's all ok for now. Your advice (reminder) helped tremendously. Occasionally we need that figurative kick in the behind to set us straight.

Been in princess warrior mode with a current health issue. I'm pretty optimistic it will all work out in the end.

Randall is quite good when it comes to such matters. He's supportive and works with me when it comes to seeking alternative solutions.. Something I haven't had combined in past relationships ,so it's pretty cool.

You guys are awesome.

I didn't take it as that either. I took it as a hypothetical question and hence my response.
