that i want to share with you all.

but in order to start,i had to destroy all my limiting beliefs.i had to be open to the idea that a word is just a labell, and positive and negative are just...perceptions.

When you start to read, keep in Mind that this is not a religious book - for the contrary...if you are really reading it with your heart, you will know that the word God is just as good as creative source or Divine Origin..dont let your old beliefs come in the way of your searching for your own Truth.

created in this matrix for us to perceive that what is real is the absolute.

So,since i started reading that book it became clear to me that...i was so,,mistaken all my life, and i had to discover my own truths from within.

and now i dont let anything exterior dictate what i believe in.

the book is free - an ebook.

you can download it here

let me know what you thought about it:

Thank you. My computer is giving me problems, but I downloaded it, and sent the link to family members.

I've read books by people like Normal Vincent Peale, in the past, and they perked me up. I wish I hadn't fallen out of the habit (and back into worrying).

Wow.....Diandra, this is unsettling for me. You know I was raised very religious.
I have read the bible over 18 times all the way through..
As Jehovahs Witness we were encouraged to read it everyday, and completely once a year.
So this book is interpreting these scriptures in a way that I am being deeply moved by....and the words are the very beliefs I have come to adopt one by one over the past two years through trial and era, and only once I learned how to "listen to what the spirit says"

Many thanks for this and I'm only on Chapter 3....amazing how the Universe gives us exactly what we need, no sooner and no later than we need it....all truly is as it should be....xo

I'm a member of that forum, but have been avoiding it (certain things were getting on my nerves). I might pay another visit to the forums, like intention-manifestation, though. I thought I'd seen you there, but I wasn't sure.

Oops - and obviously, above I meant Norman Vincent Peale, not Normal.

I've had this book out of the library for a couple of weeks ~ it's the complete works of the author.

(My computer keeps freezing up when I try to read the downloaded PDF ~ that, or my computer restarts.)

While she had some good thoughts; I dismiss her because she said things like Louise Hayes does which I find just so wrong and basically cruel.
A typical Scovel Shinn piece of advice would be;
quote:

"It is safe to say that all sickness
and unhappiness
come from the violation of the law of love.

It is the bit of;
quote:
"all sickness"
is basically ALL our faults, by such as that thinking,
with the implied that it is deserved,
which I find extremely wrong, judgmental, condemning, and even evil thinking.
quote:
Motivational author Louise Hay acknowledges her as an early influence.

Why should I continue to share myself and my woes and so forth here when I know I am only being judged and or pitied because I am seen as a low unevolved person who has caused ALL my woes and deserves to go through hells.???????????????

I did not cause them and I highly detest the arrogance of idiots preaching such things which condemns all of us who suffer from ills, even birth defect ills.
People who think that way do deserve to be afflicted with terrible things so they can see how it feels to be judged and condemned by such as these self righteous bigot judges.

For an individual experiencer, The Law of Choice supersedes all Laws of Positive Thinking. We can choose to disbelieve in the Law of Attraction and hence nullify it, we can choose to disbelieve in the Law of Karma and thereby blame random events for global problems.

From Page 36 of this book:
"Judge Not, that ye be Judged. Many have attracted disease through condemnation of others. What a man condemns in others, he attracts to himself."

It is not that she is judgemental but she wrote her book for a primarily WASP audience unfamiliar with global problems like Darfur, in a writing style that was rhetorical. I doubt if any one of us could have done better as a female motivational author in the early 20th century.

Louise Hay is a post War author, she could have been more careful with the way she wrote. Matters of healing should not produce resistance in readers. She should have blamed random events for the sickness and suggested a mind-body correlation exercise as a cure. This would have ensured a higher healing success rate. Healing is more important than blame games/judgementalism.

Personally, I would recommend Florence 100 times more than Esther Hicks. Another such praiseworthy author is Genevieve Behrend.

yes,i continue to say that this book is awesomly important for me.

Maybe it is not the "right" time for some,to read it.perhaps the book will chose another time or moment,so that all the people could relate to what it says.

or maybe this book is not good for everyone.

but for me...it changed my life,my permitting me to change my perspectives in Life.ºº

it was the 1st and im continuing with the other book that i suggested in the Pilgrim´s forum.

i wonder why some people do and some don't feel the authors "blame" us "victims". i didn't see either one that way, but as trying to point out that most of us don't get or give enough love and that is what lets disease in...there was no condemnation, only a desire to open people's eyes.

louise's list is a bit on the generic side with it's "causes" and affirmations, but even so the number of people who have passed through my office and said "well she's spot on for my condition" is really impressive...

but i've gone into this elsewhere so end of speechifyin'!

Hi Katatonic,
Louise has certainly done the "scientific" correlations well, but she could have sent the message to 100% of the readers by seeing to it that no one felt self-guilt at their condition.
Even Allopathic pharmacists know this technique, they blame an external source and then give a symptomatic cure. Louise could have done the same and given the correct cure.
