You know I've been thinking a lot about myself lately and why I am the way I am! -Is it normal to know as much as I do at the age of 15? -I know I'm not normal but it's starting to bother me...why is my mind growing faster then my age?-Another thing that hit me, was my whole generation and how everyone is saying where all growing too freakin' fast. I'm beginning to believe we really are. -There is no generation before us that has grown up with all the things we have. I mean look at how all the bad habits start at a young age like...drugs, drinking, multiple sex partners, and being in a state of sloth. -Not just the negative but also the positive like knowlegde that can be found by one click of a button. -Why are WE growing up so fast (why me)? Could it be Accelerated Karma? Is it a sign for the future? -StarLover IP: Logged |

What you say is possible, StarLover, but I would warn against thinking that we are the cutting edge of the future and that after us, everything will be different. At the moment, young people seem fragmented with all the things you mentioned; either we'll shape up sometime around college, or we'll have a bunch of potheads running around. Like you,I'm not very social-more serious, etc. I think it's a sign of future success. ------------------ "The only devils in this world are those running around in our own hearts. That is where the battle should be fought"-Ghandi IP: Logged |

When there are advancements in a positive direction, there is potential for equal negativity (reverse polarity). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Randall, I can see a lot of negativity in young people already, but there's a lot of potential, too We're still...YOUNG,that's the keyword!!! We have time to become anything we want to and do anything we can imagine. No-one knows where we're going. Anything is possible. ------------------ "The only devils in this world are those running around in our own hearts. That is where the battle should be fought"-Ghandi IP: Logged |
