Anything but heavy metal. It burns my ears. I don't like rock too much as well... but they're tolerable, some are even catchy.

I dont like heavy metal too. I think a song should have a meaning or it should convey a certain emotion whether it be happiness or sorrow. I mostly like Pop. I sing myself so I prefer songs which have a beautiful tune so that when you sing , it feels heaven.

Have you ever experienced this feeling you get you listen to good music. It's like your heart goes flutter and you suddenly feel so good. I know so many songs that do that to me and it feels great.

Orion

P.S.- Tell me your Favorite songs ?

I like reading, but I do have preferences, I don't usually read book sout of the realms of astrology, tarot, fantasy, metaphysics, and small novelties or biographies!
Poems are okay too!

I love the band U2 and Madonna. I love Michael Jackson's old music and do I like listening to 80's tunes.
Louis Armstrong is a great 50's singer.
Also don't call me corny but I love listening to Disney songs...I just think there filled with star codes you know.
I'm not into heavy metal rock but I do like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Green day.

I really like old school rap, but I can't stand mondern rap with video glamour, with hot chicks, and bling bling. That makes me really mad.
Although I really like Eminem/Marshall Mathers.

I guess I love everything, but as you can see I am rather mainstream, when it comes to music.

Ika, I enjoy some rap from the likes of eminem or 50 cent. Sometimes p. diddy works for me too. But rock is more my thing.

Eminem is okay. There's a band at my school, consisting of all my oldest friends. If I didn't know them, I don't know what I would think of their music, but since I do know them I listen to it and rather like it. They play pseudo- blink182 stuff. With a heavier style mixed in.

Has anyone heard the Adagio for Strings, by Barber? It's rather cliched, but it's one of the most memorable classical pieces there is. Also, I like the Beatles. "Let It Be", and Dolores Keane's remake of it, is so beautiful!

And the LotR movie soundtrack! And the soundtrack from the 1967 movie of Romeo and Juliet! Most soundtracks are boring, but there ae occassional bright spots.

I guess I couldnt even pick my best five if I had to. THe choice is so vast.

I like Eminem's songs, Missy Elliott's, Shakira's all (though I have no hang over Spanish)Shaggy's Strength of a Woman, Angel, BonJovi's It's my life, Misundazstood, Everyday, Shania Twain's, etc etc

I love some Arabian songs too especially Albina, Habibe, etc. From the oldies I like Cliff Richard's Devil Woman, Lucky lips, Outsider, Bachelor boy etc.

From Soundtracks I think My heart will go on from Titanic by Celine Dion is the best. I stand alone from Scorpion King is nice too.

Orion

PS- I've Count of Monte Cristo and it is one the best plot i've ever read. The way he takes revenge afterwards is just absolutely amazing. But off course whatever he did was done with Money and His Wit.

Current update on my music preferences:

Current LSS (Last Song Syndrome. The one which you just can't get outta your head and keep on singing/humming/etc.): Don't Call Me Baby by Madison Avenue... Song sounds very Aries or Scorpio. Not sure which. Probably Aries, coz the last line of the 2nd stanza is "But didn't momma ever tell you not to play with fire?"

Gyah... I've been having the freaking LSS since Monday...
