Ugh Starlover, that's an awful voter turn- out statistic. :barfing: I wish Americans would vote. It's so sad, it's like we don't care what happens to our country!

*snicker* yeah, obviously...

Anyway, the French are definately cool! In English we're reading the autobiography of Jacque Lusseryran,'And There Was Light', and we watched a movie called 'Au Revoir, Les Infantes'. Forgive my spelling, please.

You're very right. People need to start paying attention, or else they won't notice that their rights are beginning to dwindle away.

I feel like we're losing our freedoms, and we aren't doing anything about it because of our complacency. We are fearing terrorists for nothing, and for that we are giving more power to the F.G.

I don't want to see Bush win a second term. But I guess there is nothing you can really do.

I'm expecting him to win in 2004. There are a lot of people who will fight his re- election, including myself, but the opposition just isn't organized enough.

I've always wondered how our parties got such odd names- Democrat and Republican? Like one party's for democracy and the other's for a republic? Whatever...
