or are you already

i was thinking about immortality (as i have been since i read Linda's books) and i found out something...(and with the prospect of sounding absolutely up myself) i never actually believed in death...i never saw the point in it...
so i wanted to know what do you guys think about it? do you want to live forever based on what you have seen so far on this world??

No, I don't want to live forever. Death is a natural part of life.

I'm not sure what I want to do. I know its a possibility but I still have to experience more of life to make a complete recondition of my mind. A very tough thing to do!

Dorkus you need to read Star Signs in order to understand why immortality was the natural part of life!

I used to say the same thing until I read Star Signs.

Immortality would be nice but only if you were young.... I don't want to be immortal if one day I'm gonna be 238653 years old, jezuz you'd be in a cruel state but otherwise, I'd like to be 18 til I die or 17.

I'll start on immortality when I'm thirty-ish; there's no point in looking 'younger' when I'm only fifteen.

Probably best to freeze your age at early 20's.

Hmm... yes, that's a good time. But I don't want to live forever, really- I may let myself die around 250 or so. Since I may be getting bored by then.

I'd like to live for a very long time. A coupl eof centuries would be nice. But NOT forever, that thought always scared me. There has to be an end.

On tv they were talking about this scientific research, they're researching how to make humans live longer, up to 200 years. What they do is inject something into the chromosomes to stop the regeneration of cells. If our cells stop regenerating, we won't look our age. Our cells can only regenerate 8 times then we die. They're thinking of stopping the cells after 4 regenerations. Imagine?

They've tested it on a fly, who lived 3 times longer than a normal fly. (how would they catch the fly ??? & inject it ? )

I don't know if I like the sound of it though. Stopping my cells from evolving ? .......

Why bother with an injection when you can get the same effect with your mind, indefinately?

wow...they actually have tested that on a fly? But how healthy could that be to us humans? Yeah the government keeps so many things from us, they are way more advanced than they are letting on. One day I think it would be the sweetest thing if I could work at the CIA and find out what they are doing! WOO!

I know that the government knows about time travel and has insane medical advances. They know that most people are not ready for the information, so they keep it until we are sufficiently enlightened that's what I think. Or maybe not...

Z- you're right, most people have never heard of the idea of immortality and would think it's just wierd and stupid. They might be right- I'm still not convinced that it works, myself- but we'll find out eventually.

But how did they catch the fly ?

I doubt if the government believes in immortality or enlightenment. Or the cia for that matter. They're probably all suits who only believe in what they see & scientific facts.

I'm sure there are a few Immortal "spies" in government--and also in Hollywood.

I was watching an old episode of Unsolved Mysteries, and they had this Psychic guy who worked for the government, and he helped them figure out all kinds of things. He could astral travel, and find out what spies were up to, and everything like that.

But at one point they asked him if he would use his power to destroy another person's mind. He refused, but can you believe their advances, and their wickedness? The CIA has enough power to rule the world, and I think that's what their plan really is. It's so crazy!
