I didn't go to my Junior Prom, but because so many of my peers asked why I didn't show up, I was really surprised, and I may very well go next year. -StarLover IP: Logged |

I'm glad you had fun sheeba! With a screen name like mine, you know I'll agree with the pink and heels comment . Sexy! And Star Lover, I hope you decide to go to Prom this time around. I was thinking on missing out as well, but my friends talked me back into it. It's an opportunity to get dolled up and dance!IP: Logged |

Hmm, I'm a freshman this year so I don't get to go to prom, but eh, I won't ever be able to go since I'm moving to Madrid soon. I don't really care though, I don't see what the big deal is. Though it would be cool to wear a pretty dress, heh.I loff shopping too- I don't know, it's just fun man. I can't explain it, but it's just very theraputic. ------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." IP: Logged |

Not that I know of- it's an American concept. But we do have Tuna day! Heh, I have no idea why we did this, but every year at my elementary school in Madrid there would be a day when everyone got to dress up in costumes and then we brought down a giant tuna and walked around with it singing songs.I dunno, don't ask =D. ------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." Oh no, a fake one. It was huge man- like 12 feet from mouth to tail fin. But I went to a really big school, so lots of people carried it- it was like a Halloween parade in the middle of spring, with the tuna of course.------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." I have mixed feelings, mainly. Damn that Libra moon, eh =)? I'm really, really elated about it, because I love moving around and traveling, and I love Madrid. I love how big it is, I love the people, I love the atmosphere, I love how the city never sleeps... but there are a couple of things that irk me. For instance, education. I might not like school, but I still want to get a good education. Public schools in Spain are pretty dire. I found this out the hard way. Mostly everyone that can afford it send their children to private schools. So I hope when we move back there I can go to a private bilingual school, which would be awesome.I know I'm going to miss it here, but just the small things. Like Target (Tar-shay), the beautiful beach, probably the only person who understands me right now, watching late night comedy talk shows... you know? But besides that, I really can't wait. But at the same time, I can't help but feel a tiny bit hesitant. But then, on the other hand, I want to travel, to see new things, to go outside of the box. I hate routine. But then... routines can also be comforting sometimes. Argh, I'm starting to sound like Mr. Kerry. Heh, I probably just achieved boring and confusing you QueenofSheeba. ------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." IP: Logged |
