How did everyone become introduced to astrology and at what age? I first started liking astrology when I was about 11. I remember I was at a used book fair with a friend and her mom and I found the book Love Signs. I picked it up and flipped through and sat down right there on the floor and began reading. Six years later, I still refer to it almost daily. Ever since then Astrology has grown to be a part of me. I keep wanting to learn more and more and more and more until there's nothing left to learn, but the wonderful thing about astrology is, there's always something new to learn! ------------------ Sigourney Libra Sun~Cancer Rising~Leo Moon IP: Logged |

Glad Linda was your first. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. Hi Sigourney!I remember reading Linda Goodman's Sun Signs when I was 11 or 12 (that was a looong time ago, considering I'm 35 now). Yes, Randall, Linda was my first, too. It's heartening to know that young people are given a voice here in this forum. I hope I can be of help if ever any of you get stuck on something... about astrology or life in general. (I, too, was young once.) Love and light! ------------------ Sun in Aries, Moon in Pisces, Leo rising... your fellow sojourner in this earthly plane. IP: Logged |

Welcome kismetkaizen! Well, I was hooked on astrology at @ 13, after my mother's friend gave me her old tattered copy of Sun Signs. I asked her if I could borrow it and she said I could keep it! Years later I moved onto Star Signs and took it with me everywhere, doing everyone's numerology . Then got Love Signs and eventually Gooberz. I can safely say, Linda's books are what started me on my spiritual journey. I was so hungry for more knowledge after reading Star Signs. I have a feeling there are ALOT of people out there with similar stories!! Thank God(dess) for Linda. IP: Logged |

Welcome Charisma! My story is very much similar to 26's, except I was 17 at the time! Before then I thought spirituality & Astrology was stupid! After I read Linda's books EVERYTHING in my life changed! ------------------ What comes from the heart...touches the heart

i got into it to because i was depressed. i wanted to know what the eff was wrong w/ me...i'm okay now, i understand myself and learned a lot from the past. i had a headache at first. i was like, why is this so complicated? lol it's all good though. i used to obsessively look at my sun sign and of course, my "crush's," (this was in the eight grade) and then...later when i got into 10th grade i made a chart at astro.com. Taurus, Moon in Scorpio, Cancer Rising.
