Okay, so I start school tomorrow.......and I'm not psyched at all. Last year I screwed up....and wound up getting into a lot of trouble (don't really want to say what I did). So now I'm on the verge of getting kicked out of the all girls school that I go to, and I have to meet with my advisor and the deans in a few days to create a contract. My parents are really mad at me and are threatening to not let me go out on the weekends and stuff. I have no idea what to do........any advice? I figured this would be the best place to post this....

What's done is done. It's in the past and there is no way to go back and change things. Don't stress over what has already happened, but try to learn from it. Whatever you did, you are obviously sorry. We all make mistakes, specially in our teens.. your parents will understand. They are worried, more so than angry, and want to ground you, only so they make sure you don't put yourself in this position again.. because they are your parents and your future well being is their responsibility.

Everyone will forgive and forget, if you do the right thing from now on. Don't worry about what happened. Concentrate on the present and the future and take it one day at a time. If your principal has agreed to create a contract, you won't be expelled yet. You have another chance and you can set things right. Regardless of your actions, if you show remorse and make an effort to change, both your parents and your school will acknowledge this and respect you for it.

Things have gotten a little bit better....school hasn't been bad at all, and the meeting wasn't bad at all. They were just like "we want you to have your best year ever..and we're gonna help you with that." So yeah..it really sounded like they wanted to help...and I'm ready to make a change.

And so far my parents have let me go out...I went to a football game last night and I'm hanging out with my friend tomorrow.
