Gooberlily,I understood exactly what u meant, and what u said-which is why I was all the more zapped with my dream-where everything turned out to be literal in a huge way. The person, was not a stranger at all-but someone whom, I trust. The light that came out of the eyes, were well brilliant white in colour and had a strong and a very reflective quality about it. The eyes were extremely powerful. I did not know what to make out of it. Ra, what do u say? Seeker

Oh, the eyes. I wish I had more time to reply! I have very similar feelings as gooberlily, and actually practice the same sorts of mirror techniques. VERY interesting! I will definately come back to this topic! IP: Logged |

Seeker, you are gathering energies from other aspects of your higher self. Fantastic! Gooberlily, I have found that it is possible to see beyond the initial "reflection", once the reflective nature of it is realized. I look into a person's eyes to see who they really are, what it is that drives/guides them. At the same time I send forth understanding so that the other will perhaps feel a bit more comfortable, and let me in a bit further. Of course, there is no forcing of it, it must take place naturally, almost "arbitrarily." I have found that at some level, most people want this, they want to be understood without revealing who they really are, without dropping the outer facade. Touching someone at this level, however briefly, opens them up in ways they never thought they would. It is a fascinating exchange of energies! IP: Logged |

Ra - Yes, exactly! Arbitrarily - One can see a lot through someone else's eyes. I have to admit though, I can't do it with everyone. I used to tell my friend, I used to explain it by saying this: "There are some people we're able to look at. Then, there are other people we're able to see through. Then, yet again, there are some people we'll meet in life who we can look into." There could be many reasons why I can't see into everyone, I guess, including someone else not feeling comfortable in letting me in, which I respect Some people I've known over the years, I've looked well enough into their eyes, but I haven't seen anything particularly fascinating (of course, that doesn't mean they're not fascinating people)...but every once in a while I can look into the eyes of someone I've known and see something deeper than I saw before, some sort of emotion or feeling...something that the person is going through. Probably the most thrilling experiences I've had in my life revolve around meeting someone for the first time in this life who I've known before, there's a burning recognition, it's very faint but visible to me...a reddish/golden sparkle behind the eyes, way down deep in the pupils of the person. When I see that, I'm on cloud nine My eyes are always open to others, unless I'm going through a rough time and I "pull down the shades" without meaning to. IP: Logged |

When the person whose eyes you want to read wears eyeglasses, does that make any difference? Is it easier? More difficult? Is there no difference at all?IP: Logged |

Spiritua - Good question! With some people I find it harder to see inside them if they wear glasses, but I've noticed it usually has to do with the types of lenses and frames. If they're small frames, or thick lenses, it does make things a little more difficult for me because the frames or lenses can be distracting, or bend the light in a strange way while I'm trying to see the person's eyes. One of my male friends purposely wore sunglasses all the time (even at night) because he said, "I don't want people to see what I'm going through right now." He was going through a bad relationship breakup, and one night he took off his sunglasses...and he was right, it was almost unbearably painful to look into his eyes. Also, as a footnote, I have an easier time reading brown or hazel eyes. Blue or blue-green eyes are harder for me to read, but I think that's because I have brown eyes myself. For some reason, even though reading the eyes for me takes place in the pupil area, the iris color can be a block. IP: Logged |

GooberLily...that is so true. I have brown eyes and can't read emotions real well in blue/green or hazel. BUT people with blue/green or hazel say they have trouble reading brown eyes. I wonder why? ------------------

Glad to know I'm not alone YIVY! I wish I could figure out why I have a harder time reading blue or green eyes. It was really hard with my twin at one point, because his eyes were blue-green, and I could see into him easier when I wasn't right next to his face. And of course, I didn't want to spend our entire relationship non-verbally communicating more than three feet away from him. The closer I was, looking at his eyes, the more difficult it was to see anything. I guess reading eyes is very much like speaking a language. The language brown eyed people will know best is the brown eye language, since they're used to speaking it every time they look in the mirror! Anyone else, any thoughts on this? IP: Logged |

Gooberlily, all I know is that in the dream you had the most terrific eyes - golden brown, and filled with sparkling light. There was not much more to that scene, and I do not remember what you were wearing (although sky blue does strike a chord!). But the scene after that was quite peculiar. It involved me passing through a tunnel that was supposed to be VERY frightening, but was actually VERY cheesy - like a bad B-movie. Just before I went into this tunnel, a Zeus-like voice told me that "now it is time for YOUR transformation!" It was all supposed to be very dramatic and very scary - but just was not. When I reached the other side, I entered a scene of rolling green hills and blue sky - all cartoon-like but 3 dimensional. Then, on the backdrop, a giant, purple, cartoon ape was looming over me (he occupied half the sky), but he was only two-dimensional. He was like a huge animated cartoon projected on the screen of this scene I was in. He was supposed to be frightening, but was actually a very pleasant character. We chatted about some metaphysical stuff and I went on my way. That was a great dream. IP: Logged |

Aus - I would very much like to hear any more things you may remember about the war.I am trying to find the regression tape I have that mentions that life - I have not listened to it in a while. IP: Logged |

I'll bet that the whole thing WOULD have been frightening if you weren't ready for it yet. I sense some kind of positive transformation. IP: Logged |

OMIGOD, ROFL...your dream Ra reminded me of a dream I had when I was about 14 years old (wish I had my diary up here from back then because I wrote the details down). I had the same cheesy tunnel, and I thought much of the dream reminded me of a video game of some sort...it was three dimensional, but it looked like old video game animation. In my dream, I went into the "scary" tunnel, it was black and swirling and there were people or something trying to grab me from the sides of the tunnel. When I entered, I remember this part, a booming Zeus-like voice told me, "You are entering the No-Zone." I remember I was confused as to what he meant, and I thought it was very funny...I was laughing in my dream after I got through the tunnel. Then, contrary to your dream I was in a large city with sky scrapers and a large ape (I don't remember if he had a color) was standing about a block and a half away from me, he was at least thirty feet tall. I don't remember if he said something, I wasn't scared of him either. I think he started to run after me, or I felt like he was following me, so I ran away from him. It was so long ago, wish I could remember more! Fascinating dream Ra, and I'd love to hear what more Aus has to add to that prior lifetime. IP: Logged |
