I just wanted to start a topic with Ra's name, without me asking for a dream interpretation!

I just wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart for all the help you've given me in better understanding my dreams.

You are so generous with your time Ra to help us all out with your wonderful insight each time we have a dream that puzzles us. You listen to all of our dreams, (no matter how long they are, as Lord knows mine often are ), offering us compassion and tools and insight to truly help us all better understand ours-Elves through our dreams.

And, you do it so fast, too! You really do amaze me a lot of the time. You are so gifted...I don't know whether I could aptly express it in words, and that's the truth of the matter!

Three cheers for you, Ra!

Hip-hip HOORAY!
Hip-hip HOORAY!
Hip-hip HOORAY!

Thank you, so...so much

And...I can't wait until you get your books together someday!

Thank you all.

Gooberlily, I do not know what to say (for a change).

I will say this, however. There is a twist. I misled many of you in a past life or two, and I am honored to be able to give some small correction to that which I previously destroyed.

Thank you all for the opportunity.

Walk in Peace

Ra, thanks for making me laugh. Misled in past life... God, I could do with a bit more of this laugh though.

Aus-

We certainly have that connection. I did not really expect anyone to recall! And there were other times ...

As most of those close to me know, my last incarnation ended there, quite violently, in '54.

Truly amazing you should say that!

WOW!

(I am much better now!)

Thanks again, everyone!

Ra I really would like to discuss this further with you, when we both have the time....I have only re-membered bits, and it's about six months ago since I did that regression....but I want to recall more. (what I do recall though, is quite lucid)
....I was a buddhist monk, attempting to get orphans and others out of the area/country. I was working alongside the US troops, but not actually for them....although they lent me a jeep one time or maybe I had to take it...I'm not sure...
There was one officer who was my contact...he took me out one night to the officer's mess which was decked out for a party...boy did I see some things that night!!!
I was so naieve!

Aus - people are going to think we are making this stuff up! When I read your last post, well ... I feel it, see it, smell it, taste it, and I can almost touch it.

I am not saying ... yet ... that our lives were connected then, but I certainly can relate!

It is interesting that, after reading your statement, I now get more understanding - and images - of some of the aspects of my life, then and now, and how they may be connected. You have shed light on some things!

I have always been somewhat aware of this particular life, since chilhood, and thought about it, dreamt about it, etc. It also came up in a regression.

I was stationed in Korea, late 40s - early 50s, an American soldier. I held a variety of positions, but always had a thing for front-line activity. And, what really stikes me as funny, is that some of my most vivid images are of driving a jeep. I drove often, and came to hate/love it.

How peculiar!

Very thoughtprovoking.

First, I would like to apologise for skipping over this thread because I am absolutely fascinated by your talent, Ra, and we are most blessed to have made your aquaintance. Can't say I'm learning how to do this myself ...yet. I never was very good with symbolism It gives me Linda's 'mump-lumps' when I think of what some people's gifts here do for others.

How does a soul go from one incarnation as a soldier (one who trained to kill) directly to a spiritual incarnation? I would think there would be a lot of guilt felt in the current lifetime. Is it hard to be objective about lifetimes that weren't so spiritual when you can recall them? Lots of questions about that! I feel guilt on a daily basis for only being an 'average' human being I could use a lot of 'tuning up'!

Thanks, VR.

VR, there were a thousand lifetimes before that, so these two incarnations are but small pieces of the overall puzzle. I needed to experience that sort of killing so that I could understand, and realize, a more Buddhist outlook this time, the opposite.

It is funny, though, how these cycles operate. Before that incarnation, as a soldier, there were many in which I was more of a Buddhist - very non-violent. So I needed to experience that life of killing to balance the previous, and to balance the current one. I have been a soldier many, many times, and also very spiritual, and sometimes both at once! Those were the most destructive.

The web of lives is seemingly very tangled, but they are all so very connected. I find it absolutely fascinating!

And if you feel guilt about only being average, then of course this means that you are anything but, and that you have simply not realized the potential that you know yourself to have, and that we KNOW you have!

Ra,

Did you manage to get into the state between lifetimes-where we analyse our lifetimes and pre-plan our next lifetimes?

I remember the space between lives Seeker. It took me a while, one of my friends who is seven years my junior in this life helped me remember when we both were drawing out our paths for this life. She clearly remembers telling me, "You're nuts." when I was planning this one out.

I know I've known a lot of you here in former lives, perhaps I'll get to the point where I remember which lives.

That was amazing Aus and Ra!

Gooberlily,

Wow! The most important things we learn are in between lives, when we are spirits, when as I mentioned we plan and review our lives. Fascinating!
We must be connected, all of us or maybe we are, or will be...time is relative.
All I am aware of is, that this site, has a huge, I mean mammoth energy about it. There will be changes in all of us. It has already started in me.
It seems that almost everyone out here seems to enjoy being part of this huge family, we have become.

Gooberlily I like your friend's sense of humour!

Ra I mentioned Korea only because I sensed you there in my memory....however, I could not identify you.....although now that jeeps are "on the menu" ....I sense that the driver of the jeep for my last transport run was killed by a mine, or something similar, however the jeep itself escaped relativly unscathed, so I was able to get it started & complete the run....strangly though, I don't think I'd ever driven before....but somehow I knew how to. I cannot ever forget now, the adrenaline & terror &....fury!
Aus

P.S. definately not made up !

I know I've made some changes for the better since coming here. "The family" (here) has helped me learn so much more about myself and other people...and the uni-Verse, more than I ever dreamed of I have to say it's really enriching my life, my stay here this time around.

I have some memories of between lives, though they would be hard to describe. I do remember drawing out this lifetime, though I'm not allowed to see the whole road I've planned when I reflect on it, things that *haven't happened yet* are blurred out. My life map was written three dimensional and flexible, and I can see some things now that didn't happen because of alternate paths I took. It really is fascinating.

And yes Aus, my friend does have a good sense of humor I'd love it if she could post on here, but she's a little limited on time right now. Perhaps I'll get her over here one of these days, I know she'd have a great time.

I'm loving listening to these past experiences Aus and Ra, I'd love to hear more

This is really interesting!

I will write more of what I remember when I get a chance.

Gooberlily, I just wanted to mention a bit of a very long dream in which you played a part. I was in a store and you were there. You were sitting and we were talking about all sorts of things metaphysical, and then it became more psychological, more personal. You were just telling me about some experiences and such, when I came over to sit across from you. I looked directly into your eyes, and you said "ok, be my mirror." I looked over and said to a freind of mine, kind of jokingly, kind of seriously, "she wants me to be her mirror."

I think you were a representation of this site, as it helped to answer a question. It seems we are all getting into each other's heads around here!

Heheh Ra, see that doesn't surprise me Was this a recent dream? Reason I ask is that I haven't been able to remember my dreams the last few nights, and when that happens it means I'm making some visits

And you know, that really was me. I very often talk with my friends about how the eyes are the windows to the soul, and being made of *glass* can also act like mirrors. When I am spiritually close to a friend I have known before, and if I'm going through a time where I'm trying to understand myself or my situation, I will look into that person's eyes, and I'll ask them to be a mirror, so that I might see myself as they see my situation, and by doing that I am often able to solve my problems at hand.

I've also taught others to do that nifty trick, so that's really cool you remembered that Ra That's great. Do you remember what color I was wearing in the dream? A lot of times I run around in light sky blue or white if I'm consciously making a visit, if we just happened to cross paths though, I might have been wearing colors other than those.

Gooberlily and Ra,

I dont know if it was the impact of , what I read here, but in my dream last night, I saw a person, who looked at me.
The person, turned towards me and what I noticed was that person's eyes were like mirrors, flashing a great deal of light. Our eyes, held for some time and then broke off.
There was some change in me, after this-as if some message had been passed-what the message was, I am unaware of. What I do remember, is not wanting to look in that person's eyes as I felt that I would be vulnerable. There were a lot of other people in the room-but this contact happened with only one person.
What would u make of this ?

Ra - Yes, I am serious If you could remember any other facets of the dream, I'd love to hear, maybe it could help me remember.

Seeker - It seems that your dream was very literal in the interpretation of the *mirror* aspect. When I see another person's eyes become mirrors, the change hasn't been as noticable as that visually where there is a lot of light, unless you meant spiritual light?

Perhaps if you were afraid to look into the person's eyes when they were mirrors, it's because when the person is acting as a mirror you don't see deep inside that person, you only see what they want you to see...in this case the person was looking at you, so you saw yourself! Incidentally, I can only ask someone to be my mirror if I know them fairly well in some way and trust them. If you just meet someone, and in your case if it was a stranger in your dream...an experience like that might be unsettling, because on some level you're expecting to be able to see their soul through their eyes. If it's blocked off, or reflecting it's a little eerie.

Ra, what are your feelings about this?
