Hi Ra. If you get a chance, could you give me your thoughts on this dream I had last night.

I dreamt that I was notarizing the Will of an elderly couple. The Will was dated, however, April 23, 2012. I then tried to change the date and change the 1 to 0, but couldn't and the date ended up being blacked out. Then there were multiple copies of the Will and the original was hard to find. Also, the elderly couple in the dream was an actual elderly couple I randomly met not too long ago. They were two of the most kindest strangers I've ever met. I actually left them wondering if they weren't Angels coming to say Hi.

Any thoughts I'd be grateful for, even if it doesn't have a lot of significance since it's so short and not so "colorful".

Thanks.

Oh, Scorpia, if only the length and colorfullness of a dream was an indication of significance! It seems that the shortest and "least colorful" are anything but!

And your dream is no exception.

Upon first reading it, I had impressions of a timeline or some event, and perhaps the way in which many realities or possibilities branch off of, or into some other event or point in space/time. I felt that your awareness of some specific happening may have an influence on the eventual outcome, which may have gone from a "predetermined" condition to a condition of flux, or variation, not set.

I am not sure how much of this I will be able to get into, but I will try to hit most of the main points. The problem is, the more I look, the more I see, and the deeper it gets. This is one of those "simple" dreams that seems to get utterly complex. I will try to hit the middle.

Notarizing the will (why did you capitalize will?) could symbolize the acknowledgement of the ending of a cycle.

The elderly couple - this is one of the aspects that seems to get complex. They are strangers, and yet they are not (you met them). You describe them as Angels - Angels are present, and yet they are not. They are a couple - two, and yet one. And there is nothing random about meeting an elderly, kindest of strangers, angelic couple, especially when they appear in a dream with symbols such as these. So we must consider the "angel" aspect, whether or not they actually are/were, because this is how you think about them.

I am not certain if the actual date has significance. It may have been a way to emphasize the 1 and 0. Any numerologists out there have any ideas on this?

The main interest is in your attempt to change the 1 to a 0. 1 can signal the beginning of something, or perhaps wholeness.

0 can mean many things. It both is, and is not. It is the circle, and all things associated with it - completion, immortality, wholeness, perfection, self, etc.

So what are you trying to change? Are you in the beginning stages of something and wish to see the completion of it, perhaps prematurely?

I also get the feeling that whatever it is that you are trying to change will affect the outcome in such a way that the result will be un-knowable, or at least more than one result will be made known.

And we are dealing with some sort of culminating cycle, so perhaps the acknowledgement of the ending of some cycle will cause you to see some "mistake" made in the process, so that you wish to correct it, the result of which will lead to the ending of many other connected cycles.

This is about death/rebirth, beginning/ending, predetermination/free "will", change/no change, subconscious/conscious.

This kind of scratches the surface, what do you think?

Thank you sooo much, Ra.

Thank you. There's a lot of meaning behind this one that can back up what you picked up on. I'm glad you pointed these things out to me. I'll try to break it down soon, but it's not that easy. Basically, yes, there is sOmething/One I would like to change how it relates to me, that is already pre-determined....and thanks to free*will* and my awareness of the happening, the outcome will be un-knowable.

All of your factors do add up though and make some sense. I wish I could share more. ....between not wanting the 1 (at this point in time) and changing to 0, and everything else...it's just too much right now. But I did want to at least reply and say thank you.

And the only reason I capitalized Will is because of my work. I'm just used to capitalizing those kinds of papers.

Ok, now that you've scratched the surface...how about really blowing my mind.

GLLF ~ I'm in love with your quote

You're working in the legal field too Scorpia? I used to type a lot of Wills and Health Proxies, etc. My mom's a Notary, too.

Fascinating dream!

Yes, Gooberlily I've worked in the legal field for many years - too many. I used to witness a lot of Wills and Health Care Proxies at one particular job. What's sad is all the verifications of signature I'm going to have to do as people...well y'know.....Anyway, I would love a change of careers - are you still in legal? I've got a couple of different things I'm working on right now that hopefully will give me another career at some point in time.

Randall.....yes, I do recognize the quote from Gooberz. Actually, I'm in love with the whole book Gooberz. That book changed me and really brought to surface the ME of ME.

I think about taking it out again all the time, but with everything recently happening, I don't think I could handle reading about....it all. It would probably really complicate my life if I were to re-read it today.

Star Signs is what I need to pick up soon...and confirm my views on immortality. All you knowflakes here have already laid the foundation. Thanks.

The moment I saw the title of this thread, it led me into thinking this is something not personal to you, Scorpia but rather to the whole world.

I would say the elderly couple are He and She. Something might be happening in 2012.

Thanks artlovesdawn ... the dream could have greater significance.

I remember working on this dream, and how the symbols began to impress me with their interconnectedness and multi-leveled meanings. I also remember thinking that maybe my own thoughts about '2012' were colouring my perceptions about the meaning of the dream, and did not mention that initially, although I had intended to air the '2012' possibility later, which I never got around to doing.

So, thanks for bringing this back up, artlovesdawn. Synchronistically, since I read the other day that you were reading through this forum, I was going to ask you to please feel free to bump anything you find that is either terribly incomplete (sometimes they get away from me) or otherwise interesting. So, thanks again!
