I am so glad I found this! I looked for this forum the last time I was here and missed it until now when I was just about to go to bed. Anyway, I am curious to know anyone's thoughts on this somewhat interesting ability I have to dream my future. They are not prophetic dreams of the future of our world. They are simple, mundane dreams usually of nothing special. Almost like a deja-vu. I have done this for a few years now and they have not expanded beyond just my daily life. It is not everyday either, like groundhog day or anything like that. Just every once in a while I'll find myself in my day and have recently dreamed every single detail or little thing that occurs. My (inflated) hope would be that it's a gift I could develop. My guess is that it's a clue that there really is no such thing as time, just a big circle that never ends. This is one explanation I've been given. I have regular dreams too that I keep track of on a regular basis that are typical wacked out dreams I find other unconscious meanings in. (I am a Carl Jung fan!) Any feedback at all or thoughts on this would be greatly appeciated. Blessings to all-Hera IP: Logged |

Welcome to Astral Realms, Hera We have discussed this a few times before, but I do not think we really came up with anything definitive. I have the same types of dreams, on occassion. Nothing extraordinary or prophetic, just dreams about simple, everyday situations which come to pass soon after. Like dreaming of driving hurriedly to the airport, almost late, but the plane was late, we boarded at such and such a time, and took off at such and such a time. All of which came to pass precisely as I dreamed it. Nothing astonishing or out of the ordinary. Why dream of such a thing? I do not know. No doubt it is as you said, time being illusory. I do think it indicates a certain connection with our unconscious mind, and perhaps it is a subconscious verification or message suggesting that we are on "the right track" ... that things, like time, are as we perceive them or think them to be. I really have no good answer. But I do believe that this is something which you can develop further, a door which leads to a connection with your higher awareness. I love Jung too! I would love to hear any dreams you may wish to share! IP: Logged |

Thank you Ra!!!!! I appreciate that very much. I hope something interesting and fun comes of it someday. I'll be sure to bring some dreams. I have been very fortunate to know someone that trained at the Jung Center in Houston that taught me a bit, and have gained so much insight into my psyche through my dreams. I know so little though compared to those that have studied it and almost always need some help with getting to my meaning. I really believe it is our soul's/ higher self's way of communicating messages to us if we can decipher the true meaning it holds for us. Blessings to all!!!!!!- Hera IP: Logged |
