It depends! I think the rest of the dream and what context the snake appears is vitally important. ------------------ you came one night, turned my tide blood red moon that you are IP: Logged |

No doubt about it. Can you tell us anything else about the dream? How did you feel about the snake? IP: Logged |

hi sorry for replying late but here it is-i had this first dream in that i saw a huge snake a huge one ,we (i and my father )were in a tunnel it was dark inside but we could actually see outside the snake .it was out side, we were in ,to say again it was pitch dark inside but it was either dawn or dusk outside.the snake followed us from outside my father was scared i was not .then when we were runing though the tunnel we reached the end and we were outside ,we though we the snake had lost us so we were relieved but suddenly it came in front of us and it was that time when i woke up.there was another one of a snake but this time it was the usual size i only remember that the rest it kind of vague. any idea what it means????

... this is my third attempt at posting a reply - something keeps going wrong! Hopefully this one will go through.----------------------------------- Philbird is right. Sexual energies are a common meaning attributed to snakes, which could very well be the meaning here. Aqua, I do not know how old you are or where you are from (culture can change the meaning of a symbol), but this seems like a good place to start. In addition to the snake there is the tunnel, and this symbol can have a sexual meaning as well (tunnel is feminine ... and snake masculine). Sexuality or sexual energies being the possibility ... Any changes in this area? --physical, emotional, mental, etc. Why do you think your father was scared in the dream? And why weren't you? IP: Logged |

A huge snake simply represents a huge energy of some kind. If this is sexual in nature, then the snake represents very strong sexual energies. If this is not about sexual energies, then it could be about healing, wisdom, temptation, or a number of other things. A few more questions could help us figure it out. Is there a boy on your mind? Are you dating? Is your father trying to protect you from the outside world (as in boys, for example)? From this perspective your dream could mean that your sexuality is increasing, you are becoming a woman, and while you are not afraid of growing up and facing the world (and boys), your father is understandably concerned for his daughter's well-being. Despite his efforts to "protect" you from the world (and boys), there is little he can do - you are simply growing into the world. Does this make any sense to you? IP: Logged |

Hello again aqua You have been so patient, and I have so little to offer you ... if this is not about sexuality then maybe it is about knowledge/wisdom, ie school? Or it could be about danger or temptation. Aqua, how do you feel about snakes in waking life? Are you afraid of them? Not afraid? Interested? At the time of the dream, did you feel in some kind of danger? Was someone trying to deceive you? IP: Logged |

Hello aqua Perhaps we can get straight to the meaning of it ... You had this dream at the beginning of July ... at that time, what was the biggest issue on your mind or in your life? Was your father concerned about it? IP: Logged |

Then the snake most likely symbolizes both knowledge and fear. See if this works ... re-read the dream but substitute the word 'snake' for 'pile of books'. Instead of seeing a snake, see a pile of books and paper ... does the dream make sense?

Just for fun, you could substitute every fifth word with "parsley" too! Or pooter. Or masticate. Or chocolate. It might be fun. Or I could actually have something thought-provoking to add, instead of just silly.... And listen to the expert.
