Last night I went outside, as the sun was setting and saw an owl fly west. The last time I saw the owl it was in Maryland, a couple of years ago. Within days my father called to tell me his sister, my aunt's, cancer was out of remission. She died soon after.

Last night when I saw the owl, I knew it meant something. A portend of something to come, yet this time it may take a bit longer. Again, the owl flew West.

Then I slept..and I dreamed. I dreamed that I saw my old roommate. We were older and she had two children, not toddlers. She said "Pidaua, it has been so long, where is your husband, I thought he would be here". I said "He is gone..I am with another".

Then I was with the panther. I felt him close, his patience, his strength, but he did not show his full face. I was then near a field and saw the paint horse. I touched him and cried..My heart was sad. It was sad for what had been lost. My roommate was older and not with her children's husband for he had passed. By all accounts, mine had passed too.

I was no longer with Mr. Taurus. I was with a new husband and we were older...in our 40's or so.

Today, I burned Sage and worked my Tarot cards. I can't say what I found, not until I address this dream.

In my ancestors culture, the owl means death. I am worried and not sure what it means at this point..No, I am just not wanting to think it means that Mr. T is going away.

Does anyone have any insight? Ra....what could this mean?

Being shown a future is being given a chance to change it. How? I don't know. But I do know that the earlier the 'warning', the less change/energy it takes in the present to alter the visioned future ... kind of like an expanding ripple ... or like diverting a threatening asteroid while it's still far away - it only takes the slightest nudge ... know what I mean? And you have a good connection with guiding forces, so perhaps they can help point the way.

Actually, I suppose that is exactly what they are doing ...

Have you told Mr. T about this dream? Talk about it. That alone can change the future.

When the time is right, I would love to hear what the Tarot work turned up.

Thank you so much for your insight. For some reason I didn't see the possibility of change. Sometimes it really does take an objective person to show new ways of viewing the same thing. Thank you again.

I haven't been able to talk to Mr. T in a couple of days. He is in Missouri for his promotional training. We had a 10 minutes discussion two days ago and before that we didn't have any contact because he was out in the field with his squad. I am thankful that he will get back on the 19th of March.

I am debating on whether to talk to him about this dream when he gets back.I'm not sure it will make a difference because I don't see myself in this relationship for very long.

My first spread- I asked What do I need to know about our relationship: I did the celtic cross and this is what I got:

1) Covering Card: Ace of Wands
2) Crossing: Knight of Swords
3) Basis: 8 of Cups
4) Recent Past: 5 of Cups
5) Crowning Card: High Priestess
6) Near Future: 3 of Wands
7) Me or "us": Queen of Pentacles
8) Environment: Page of Cups
9) Hopes and Fears: Emperor
10) Outcome: 3 of Swords.

I can sense the military theme throught the spread. Since he has been gone (3 months is the total time he was sent for training). I have been taking care of everything here and still trying to find a job. I see me being very Queen of Penatacles in holding down the home and even going so far as to take care of all the yardwork and planting.

Then I thought to take a look at the 3 of Swords as a sig card in our relationship. This time I asked 'What does the 3 of swords mean in our relationship'

The next spread also made sense..from sadness and despair comes happiness:

1) 10 of Cups
2) Star
3) 7 of Pentacles
4) 4 of Swords
5) 3 of Wands
6) Magician
7) 4 of Cups
8) Hierophant
9) 9 of Wands
10) Chariot

Again..I see the indication of our separation brought about by outside forces (4 of swords). I also still see the indication of military, but I also see that we are being "helped" in a positive way by magickal and spiritual forces (Star and Magician). But the Chariot can also indicate moving on.

I think my own anxiety is coming through. The not being able to find a job thing is really hard. I am either over qualified or not an engineer so I keep getting passed over. I know I need to be hopeful, but combine that with our being apart and I am a bit on edge. I think that could be also what the first dream was saying..be patient...don't freak out and run away because of the pressure.
