Irish Eyes You do understand quite well! I'm very glad your back could be fixed. Therapy and chiropractic, plus working the points, and alot of mind over body and stubborn persistance has allowed me to have fewer temporary paralysis episodes. They still occur, as does blindness, and mind blasting pain/spasm, but such episodes have become fewer and farther between. I hate taking meds, and try to go without them unless there is no other option. I wanted more time with my son when he was little, and more time to devote to using the "gifts". I feel these things that have happened to my body were a blessing, not a curse. I was living in the fast lane and burning the candle at both ends. Won't go into that right now. I am the most content and happy I have ever been in my life to date, than I ever was before! So unlike how I felt before when I was hyper active, strong and fit! Things sure can take some unexpected turns can't they? But I feel these are tests we bring upon ourselves in some way when we tell God and the Universe we are ready! Blessings upon you Irish! sooz ~ thanks for the attagirl, sometimes I don't see myself very clearly (that Neptune conjunct Sun challenge I chose!) and I need that "slap with a wet towel" that I get from wonderful and caring people like you! Loves & Hugs to you, girl! fayte & irish, quote: People are often terrified of our kind. I don't understand it either, their fear. The movies and myths make us out to be something demonic, which true sensitives and seers are not! Some movies do us at least a little justice, but then people think those are the fantasy!
I place the blame for some of the fear that less-evolved souls greet you with directly at the feet of organized religion. I seem to remember a passage in the Christian Bible about avoiding psychics (witches) -- I'll see if I can find it, or maybe someone more well-versed in the scriptures can bring it forth. You may sense from my tone how anti-religious-dogma I am -- for quite awhile now I've thought that something happened in a past life that gave me the fear and loathing I feel today about organized religion. Anyway, thank you both again, for the courage in opening up the Vault of Secrets and sharing your experiences and your gifts. I feel nothing but admiration and awe for both of you! IP: Logged |

Azalaksh! What you said: Quote:"something happened in a past life that gave me the fear and loathing I feel today about organized religion." Oh Yeah! I totally understand that one! Big Time understand!!!!! Yes, still working on it! As far as the so called Good Book, (of which there are many versions, all different!) and references to psychism etc., I'll track some down, even if someone beats me to that task, I can quote from a different version! Thanks Az! Another thing I have been so tempted to post about are the nasty things in the "B" that the writers say came from Lord, or Lord God, or several other names supposedly that entity. The contradictions abound! If anyone is interested, I'll gather up a few. There are some real weird ones for sure! And some kinky stuff too. Ok... Wonder if I've teed anyone off yet!? Hey! I didn't write the stuff! But I don't like most of it, and even the good stuff is skewed!...

Hey fayte ~ I'd be very interested in some of those "contradictions" you find in the good book....wonder if the Free-For-All forum might be a better place for them? I know that this special book helps many people to better themselves and to help others, but for me, just my skeptical Merc in Scorpio opinion, I found it very hard to believe in a document that has been rewritten for over 1500 years by men with agendas.... Zala....ooooh! I like that! I believe I will do that! Might really tick some people off! But as they say; "don't kill the messenger!" I'm only going to quote what those men with their often misguided agendas and intentially skewed stories/histories, wrote down! People can become very upset when the nasty stuff from the good book is revealed to them! Oddly enough it was there all the time but they chose to not see it! One line(I'll have to look it up) is something like; "who is as blind as my servant? For I have made him so." I'll find the correct wording asap! Do you think Free For All would be a good place, or Universal Codes? Thanks again! IP: Logged |

Whoa, I like that quote about blind servants -- what a tongue-in-cheek joke! You go, girl, I have a certain zest for attempting to pry open narrow minds! Although I don't think there are that many narrow or closed minds here, or as purple_scorp would say "new souls" (from sue's Scorpio in Denial thread). I'll be your Partner-in-Crime if you need one! {{hugs}} 'zala IP: Logged |

Hey!!!!! I think we got off track on this thread for "Better Dreaming"! As to the other matter, I'll move it out of the Astral Realms and over to Universal Codes. IP: Logged |

I am so humbled by everyone's stories. Fayte, I hope I didn't laugh at you if you ever gave me advice. I soooo want the gift of sight! Maybe that's why I don't have it. I believe I did when I was about 5-8 years old, but that was a defense mechenism. If I had your talants, I'd try to help the law. MaryIP: Logged |
