Before I actually post my dream, I'd like to hear if anyone would be interested in trying to interpret the dream. I had it when I was 18 and I still remember it like it was last night I dreamed it. I can't shake the feeling that it's something I NEED to know since it's been on my mind for this long...especially since i forget EVERYTHING. Dream interpretation books offer little to NO help at all and for financial reasons, I just can't hire somenone professional to help me. If anywone is interested, I would be so grateful. I promise to do my best to keep it as simple and short as possible, yet still informative. There are things I need to understand.

You got my interest. I'm a psych major, and I've been writing down my dreams for about 10 years. Regarding dream interpretation books, they are guidelines, but only YOU know what a dream symbol means to you.

ps- if something has been haunting you for that long, you might feel better telling someone else about it (or posting it on the forums if you are willing). Insight from other people can sometimes lead to putting things in perspective. 17 years is a long time to be holding onto that dream.
