hi ~
did'nt remember this dream though after i got up but while reading the news paper today ,i came across this small article for pregnant women and i realised that i had a dream about me being one.
don't remember the whole of it but its in bits and pieces.
i was of the same age as i am right now (17)and i had had a baby.but no father.or may be it like that i was a single parent and had to look after the baby throughout its life.(its a little wierd though).
but then some thoughts came into my mind.in my present life i and my mother often discuss about the age of getting married.my mother when she was young got married when she was 18,and i feel that it was at a very young age.and i often tease her that she had a child marriage.
in my dream the same thoughts rolled into my mind that when i used to tease my mom,and now i was only 17 myself.and i thought that it was not a big deal and i could stand alone.i don't know what happened after that.
its a little strange but how well the real life and what i saw in the dream were interconnected.

Maybe you feel you "parented" yourself? Maybe you are worried about repeating what you see as Mom's mistakes? Just some ideas to get you started.

it was'nt my mom's mistake.rather getting married is not a mistake at all.all the more its not when her marriage has lasted for 25years and is still at no point of less love.she had an arranged marriage.anyway that's something else.

i tease her only becaure i feel a person should live life in full as a batchlor.so a married life should be around 25-26 of a person's life.and that's what is my point of view.

Yes, this dream seems to be a reflection of your thoughts about the discussions between you and your mother. As you approach the age that your mother was when she "got started", your perspective changes/matures, and your dreaming mind is experimenting with the possibilities.

Your parents are certainly fortunate. But I agree with you. Just my opinion, but 18 seems a bit early.
