I realize I have been a bit slack around here lately, and I apologize for that. It seems I cannot quite wrap my mind around dreams in recent weeks, I cannot focus on them, and this is due to something that is happening to me.

I don't know what is going on exactly, but it is taking a lot of energy, and I am curious if there is something that can be said from an astrological standpoint.

Whatever is happening now, was also at a peak one year ago. Some "synchronous" events correlate to each other, to the day ... 1/10/06 and 1/10/07, being one.

This began a couple of weeks before Christmas and continues until the present. The same with last year.

Can someone look at my chart and see what is going on? Pixie, Sue?

I have to find my birth time, so I'll be back tonight with all of my info.

Thanks!

Thanks Sue. I thought you were one of the resident astrologers for some reason. I'll take any thoughts, amateur or otherwise. A chart is Greek to me.

Ra

Do you ever go into astro.com?

There is a facility there which gives transits...short and long term ones and Ive found them very helpful in the past.

I had a look for you and this is what is happening for you at the moment and in the future

Important long-term influences: (for subscribers)

"Inner stability" (Saturn Trine Saturn)
"A foggy view" (Neptune Square Mercury)
"With a true spirit" (Venus in the 12th House)

Would you think of putting this thread in the astro forum here....or would you prefer to leave it in this section?

Oh I wish I knew more about the astrological side so that I could help just a little bit!!! I know someone will be able to help, though. I mean, this is Lindaland!

*hugs Ra*

For what it's worth, though, I'll see if I can find anything.

Ra,

I am not an advanced astrologer but rather a student here but I'll try

I looked at your transits charts, 01/10/2006 and 01/10/2007 side by side but nothing jumped at me... no similarities that I noticed. I'll look again tonight.

However, there are a couple of long terms transits that might be affecting you. Your Saturn is about to cross your Ascendant which in a nutshell can be described as identity crisis. I just went throught it as well. Here is some good reading on that
http://www.aquariuspapers.com/astrology/2005/12/saturn_cycles_w.html
http://209.85.165. 104/search?q=cache:SbBTql6RNGkJ:www.bernieashman.com/articles/bernietime.pdf+Transiting+Saturn+conjunct+ascendant&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=1

Also, Neptune transiting your 6th House. This thread has a lot of good info
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008842-2.html

You see, I think that long term transits are sort of run on the background until something happens to activate them and then you experience "the whole kaboodle" for a while. Then, one influence might fade away and the other one becomes more prominent. So in a way it might explain short term events

Hope it helped a little

Oh, Ra! I can't beleive I didn't see it right away. You know how sometimes you miss the most obvious .... Every year on January 10 the Sun is in exact conjunction with your natal Mars which is in 19 degrees Capricorn!

This is what Steven Forest says about Sun transits " The transiting Sun is like a huge, dumb battery. Wahtever it touches, it electrifies - but never for very long or very deeply. That's simply because it's a fast moving factor, never staying anywhere long enough to develop true depth or complexity of meaning. In a year, it circuits the chart once... which leaves it only a few days to spend in each of your chart's many sensitive zones. Wahtever it touches, however, is temporarily puished into action. And sometimes, if more serious astro-psychological energies have been building or brewing in that area of your life, the Sun's transit over this point might just be the trigger that sets big wheels turning. The critical point is that the Sun represents your ego, and when it collides with sensitive territories you need to act accordingly: not "egocentrically" but with an awareness of your rights, your needs, and your desires."

In a nutshell, Mars is about the conflict. While it has an abilty to energise, to produce great sexual desire and physical strength, it's not called a "great malefic" for nothing. Mars is very strong in your chart. It is a part of the MC-Pluto-Mars trine,it is also a part of a kite - Pluto - Saturn - True Node - Mars, it squares Mercury, Jupiter AND Sun. Also it has strong connection with Sun because it occupies the 5th House which ruled by the Sun.

Here is from Bob Marks on Sun-Mars aspects:
"Mars Aspecting the Sun: Whatever squares or opposes the Sun frequently shows traits that we reject, that we don’t even want to believe we have. But we do have them. Mars is anger and energy. One woman with a stressful aspect between the Sun and Mars had a violent father who beat her mother in front of the kids. She always wondered why her boyfriends were abusive. I asked her if she also had no energy. She replied "How did you know?". You cannot cut off the "bad" traits of a planet and keep the good. It’s a package deal. Jung was right in this case. She told herself that she wasn’t going to be like that violent Mars, so she attracted it from the outside. And since she rejected her Mars function, she also cut off her own energy. In other cases, the Mars seems to take over, and the person has an explosive temper. Stress aspects between the Sun and Mars can also tend to be defiant of authority if the Mars influence predominates. Once you learn to deal with this combination, however, the energy can seem never ending. The conjunction is easiest stress aspect to deal with. There is no "projection" with the conjunction. You are simply active and aggressive, and may be mistaken for an Aries Sun-Sign. The harmonious aspects give less temper and more action, making it easier to accomplish things."

But the whole situation is a lot more complex because of other planets and points involved. There are definitely some good strong influences to lean on. I'll try to put some thoughts together for you.
