Had a dream this morning at about the time of the new moon. Was told to take note of dreams at this time so I did.Firstly, I was in a bedroom making a bed. The mattress was large and round (mandala?) and I was putting a fitted (bottom) sheet on it. Then I was at a market with a friend and looking through a box of bandanas. They were all embroidered different colours and when I found one I liked I tied it around my head and looked in the mirror, but my hair was much longer in the dream and a bit darker (I actually looked like my 9 year old daughter). I then tied the bandana around my neck. Leaving the market by the back way (for some 'bad' reason we couldn't go the front) I found myself swinging down into a densely vegetated valley by tree branches, it was like I was falling but slowly and just when I thought I was going to fall I'd grasp another vine and swing lower- I wasn't scared. (I've had a dream the same as the vine swinging one before-except in this dream I didn't reach the bottom-I'm about to go back and find it to see what it meant). Well that was my new moon dream. The round bed was vivid and interesting... IP: Logged |

Cut this from a dream I had on the 21/5/07. It has beds and bandanas so I thought it might be relevant...(10 days after the pisces and I had a heart to heart- although he was still with his girlfriend)"Dreamt I was in a play and although I don't remember the actual play, I was given the program for it, inside which was my photo as one of the characters. It was a shakespeare comedy but I can't remember which one. Then I was in a bedroom and the bed was shaped like an L. The room was a mess so I cleaned it up and found heaps of pillows on the floor. The pillows were all different shapes and sizes and I removed all the covers to wash them. Some I wrapped in bandanas cos I didn't have any spare covers, others had small mirrors embroidered onto them. Then I was sitting at a small round table having dinner with the pisces and his family. They were asking me lots of questions but we were all smiling and laughing." This was from the 13/2/07 (A few weeks before I found out the pisces had a girlfriend) "I dreamt I was driving a car up a steep, winding road towards the top. The new bitumen road on both sides was 2 lanes and wide but as it was steep and winding nobody could go very fast. I slipped my car back a gear and had more than enough power to go exactly how fast i wanted to, not speeding, just comfortably fast staying within the lines. At the top I am standing on the edge of a steep rainforest valley when I decide to climb down. Its so steep I think I've made a mistake and I'm going to fall so I grab a vine/branch. Every vine I try to grab I think is going to break and I'll fall but I never do. They simply bend and lower me until I grab another one, but the fear is still there. I swing my way slowly to the ground and am releived when I get down there, my heart even stops racing." I'm actually a bit worried about these new dreams might mean as I'm not over the pisces. I thought I was but a few weeks ago I started thinking about him heaps and can't stop. He last contacted me on the 17/11/07, but I changed my number after that. Any feedback GREATLY appreciated! Very interesting OzMeg. I remembered those previous dreams as I was reading this one. Very similar! I promise I'm not ignoring you. I'll get back to you just as soon as I can. IP: Logged |

Any feedback is always greatly appreciated! You've given me so much of your time and insight (which is so accurate its almost errie at times!) in the past, I'm truly thankful.I didn't recall those other dreams til I started to write them here, then when I went back to look for the jungle swinging one I found the bed/bandana one as well- I'd forgotten all about that one! Weird. Obviously my subconscious remembers though! IP: Logged |

Hi OzMeg I agree that the round mattress is a mandala, which would suggest that the dream is a reflection of self construction/reconstruction. But the bandanas ... what does this symbol represent? It seems to be part of your personal symbology, so what does it mean to you? In particular, embroidered bandanas? Do you have some personal connection through memory or experience with embroidered bandanas? Swinging down on vines also is part of your personal symbology, probably reflecting times when you are feeling insecure, uncertain, or otherwise unsure and confused. That would certainly fit with your Pisces situation. What do you think? IP: Logged |

I was having a low week when I dreamt about the vine swinging, the fact I wasn't scared and didn't hit the bottom in the dream this time reflected in real life- I had a bit of a depression episode but I was aware of it, not scared and recognised what was going on. I have no idea about bandanas, they must represent something within myself but there are no literal bandanas in my life and they represent nothing to me- consciously anyway.I actually dreamt I was in a market again last night and was looking at 'hippy' dresses made the same as the bandanas in the other dreams (some of these ones had mirrors like the pillows in the first dream). Lots of woman bought them and wore them around the market but they were all baggy, I did too but the one I wore was fitted to my body and I had a tiny waist that made a random man comment on my feminine curves- he said something about a goddess (yeah that was good for the ego, even if it was just a dream!). Before that I was living in a caravan again (dreamt of that a few weeks ago) but this time I was actually putting the annexe on the outside of the caravan. Guess that says I've moved on from 'cleaning the inside' (in the last caravan dream) and am ready to add something/someone more to my life. What do you think? P.S. Funnily enough yesterday morning I was woken by 2 birds flying around in my bedroom. They'd come in the lounge door that I leave ajar for my dog, made it all the way through the house into my bedroom. I kinda took it as a sign that something good is going to happen soon, it was a weird thing to happen. IP: Logged |
