Is it possible that dreams are just wishful thinking during sleep? It is the most simplistic interpretation of dreams and it may be true. But I am not sure.IP: Logged |

I don't see how dreams can be "wishful thinking" given the dreams many of us have. Sure, plenty of my dreams have been fun, but others have been truly terrible, too. A lot of anxiety ones, too. But even if every single dream was just a shallow reflection of our fears & desires, they still have a lot to tell us about ourselves and our lives. IP: Logged |

Wish fulfillment, yes, sometimes. When we want something very much, our dreams give it to us at times....nothing wrong with that. Dreams don't 'lie'. They reflect. IP: Logged |

Some of my dreams have not been related to my current situation at all. I was expecting answers in my dreams and it seems I received what I wanted to receive. I thought dreams always told you what you needed to know, but sometimes they tell you what you want to know, just to relieve you!IP: Logged |
