(...)p.s. If you know a *really good book* or technique for lucid dreaming, let me know that, too. Because every time I try my mind wanders and I can't get the hang of it. IP: Logged |

Well, to be honest, I've wondered this myself.Actually, I was worried that I was having some kind of recovered memory. It was terrible. Then, I started having them about people that I KNEW never hurt me in anyway. I realized that the people I was dreaming about, were family that had passed on. I believe in my case, it was a way to sort of merge with them, and be close to them, although I would of much preferred another route!! I think your idea of 'parenting yourself' has validity as well. I've never thought of it that way, but it makes alot of sense, especially if there was ever a feeling of that parent/person maybe not doing quite the job of it that you would of wished. Let me get back to you on the lucid dreaming book. I had a really good one at one time, but I put a bunch of books in storage, and it's going to take me a bit to try and remember the title of it. Please try not to feel bad, Lonake, you did nothing wrong and you are not dirty. Dreams are so often symbolic. And you are definetly not the only person who has this problem. I have shared before about the fact that I was having so many sex dreams some years ago, I sought out the advice of a psychic myself. I mean, it was ridiculous, every time I slept, I was having sex with someone. Often times someone innapropriate. She eased my mind a great deal when she said that sex dreams are often about claiming personal power. At that time in my life, I was certainly not claiming any power. They went away to a large extent once I made some changes. IP: Logged |

Lonake, I agree with what Gypsee Wind said! I bet more folks do have such dreams but either do not remember them or will not usually admit it.IP: Logged |

Hi Gypsee, quote: I believe in my case, it was a way to sort of merge with them, and be close to them, although I would of much preferred another route!!
Longing for reconnection certainly makes sense in my case, although technically it's not going to happen..I like this insight, though..The problem is that I'm tied to the past in an obsessive manner. I keep wanting what I didn't get. The parenting self reference makes a lot of sense here, too, ty. quote: Let me get back to you on the lucid dreaming book.
TY Gypsee quote: sex dreams are often about claiming personal power.
This makes sense too, in reference to what you worked out, above. quote: They went away to a large extent once I made some changes.
This would be a great change.LEXX, I read some of what you wrote on Frozen's thread, those are very *unique* dreams, lol. Quite adventurous. I don't remember mine often at all, and when I do they're not v.positive, but I could certainly go for archaeological expeditions around 3am Thanks to you 2 IP: Logged |

Lonake...let me think on how to reply to you best. I am not sure I am the one to answer your questions. I am anti religion for the most part. However, if you would describe in complete detail your encounter with this man you believe is a demon, I will try to help. Without knowing the details, I cannot ascertain whether you had an encounter with a ghost, a resonance, or a projection. All these are completely different things. Most of the time it is a resonance. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/004117.html Generally though, in dreams, it is simply another human projecting or dream sharing. And it can seem unsavory or frightening....and powerful. And some part of you has to let him into your dreaming, such cannot force itself in.

LEXX, i've been doing some online research and now I don't think it was astral projection etc. but that it was an apparition, as they seem to be human, solid, the people don't speak, they appear at home usually when we are relaxed, and the experience seems real until it vanishes and then you're left thinking 'what just happened'. What do you think?IP: Logged |

Lonake If the apparition does not speak, then good chance it is a resonance, not an actual entity. I talked about those on the links I gave.IP: Logged |

Cancer/Scorpio729, From what I've read so far on apparitions it's that they're v.rare and a one-time thing, as in the same one doesn't re-occur. Someone correct if that's wrong. What happened to you, something similar?? Please tell as it is so difficult to get someone around me who believes in this sort of stuff, everyone I talk to here (in my city) about this (not that i'm blabbing it everywhere) they just tell me to go get a few gallons of holy water, lol. Anyway, share please what you experienced, your Q, whatever.Oh, Lexx says go to Universal Codes..I am so new to posting in anything other than Astro 2.0 Now I'm gonna obsess over all the posts in UC lol LEXX, Thank you, I glanced at your above link and followed it for a bit summing up the main points, now I will read it in more detail IP: Logged |

Not necessarily a real experience, but I have three entities(yes, entities, not resonances) in my house. They don't have any definite shape, just grayish blobs that I see running around various parts of my house, especially my closet. One of them really likes that space. I was going to ask, how would they react to resonances/other entities? I haven't done anything to try to keep them away from the house, no salt, since they're not hurting anyone. But I do have a sound bowl that clears the vibrations. And I don't really want to keep them away from parts of their own house. Don't laugh if this all sounds stupid IP: Logged |

C/S, Do you think they're Shadow People? Somewhat sounds like that to me from what I've heard. What do you think the difference is between entity & resonance? IP: Logged |

Cancer/Scorpio729 Sounds like nature spirits or animal ghosts. Let them be, they sound nice to have around. And, I am not laughing at all. Also I have a singing bowl, brass with wood rod. Such does not clear but usually draws in. Lonake.... An entity has a soul, it is self aware. A resonance is a soulless "recording".
Not sure what you mean about shadow people. Please explain. And apparitions (recordings, not actual entities) can repeat just like a movie dvd. ------------------ Everyone is a teacher... Hmm, never really heard of shadow people before. But they're not really shadows, just gray blobs I see out of the corner of my eye or hear walking around (carpet squeaks, not as creepy as it sounds). Friendly enough too though they used to scare the crap out of my sister, and the poor thing's only ten. Lexx, what do you mean by "draws in"? I thought the bowl's really nice high pitched ringing kind of cleared everything with sound. And it also starts vibrating and changing volumes while I use it, what's that about? IP: Logged |
