Anyone also have heart burn/Acid reflux and have these dreams?I have read a few articals indicating some people have anxiety attacks in their sleep because they suffer from acid reflux disease, and the acid creeps up into your esophagus and causes pain and discomfort and also choking spells,or instances where you cannot breath depending on the way you are laying down, making your dreams get kinda scary because your air is bit cut off,so you get a pounding heart, and the chest pain. Its one theory that you might consider if you have heart burn,to take some tablets before bed if your experiencing night sweats and a pounding heart with nightmares. I do have heartburn and feel like i cannot breathe or are drowning in these dreams, and the pain is quite real.I also have a habit of burying my face in a pillow while i sleep, that could be something, its probably cutting off my air. Makes sense Starzy. If you have acid reflux you should be sleeping on an incline. If you can't stand sleeping on multiple pillows, maybe you can try raising the head of your bed. IP: Logged |

Well I'm not really sure.. when I was little my grandma use to tell me that. I guess moving to an area you weren't sleeping in makes it feel like you just got into bed, the coolness feels like a fresh start to the dream world. ------------------ "Just like moons and like suns, With the certainty of tides, Just like hopes springing high, Still I'll rise." — Maya Angelou IP: Logged |

IQ (Tameem) did a chart analysis for my friend and he found an asteroid Kaali placement that he said was related to night terrors. I can look it up and post it later when - have access to a computer. IP: Logged |

Yeah.. I think Kaali conjuncts my Venus.. or opposes it. I forgot which one, Kaali or Siva. Gonna go check.------------------ "Just like moons and like suns, With the certainty of tides, Just like hopes springing high, Still I'll rise." — Maya Angelou IP: Logged |

Wow, I thought I had saved the analysis but now I can only find part of it. I think it was Sun conjunct Kaali, though. Anyways, perhaps the poster would put up a natal chart in the Astro forum for IQ to comment on, including asteroids, and including Kaali, of course.IP: Logged |

(raises hand) Yup, had a few before over here. Though considering the themes occurring during the dreams it seems normal afterward. In your case, that sounds like something to seek help as previously mentioned. It isn't something you have to live with. Usually that sort of thing has to do with deeply repressed issues in life.
