I always have scary dreams that feature water. Either I am driving down a highway like Florida Keys Scenic Highway (whew, I am hyperventilating just thinking about that roadway) and my car goes in or I am driving into a pond near my house (which looks like the ocean in my dreams) or there is water crashing against rocks and I am about to fall in, or I am alone in the middle of a lake…I have recurring nightmare-ish dreams about water. I have the “overwhelming water dream” at least once a week. It is weird because I love the beach, I love water but it is so scary when it is all I can see. Is it because I feel like I am drowning or just “keeping my head above water”? What do water dreams usually signify? P.S. I tried linking a picture to Florida Keys Scenic Highway and I had to close the window because I was starting to have an anxiety attack just looking at it. Google it, if you dare...

Lakes represent the unconcious/emotions. Randall was right about the water situation. Water could mean many things depending on how clear it is. Dirty water means much difficulty lies ahead. Muddy water means the task/problem will be slightly easier to solve. If it is a large lake with dark water your emotions could be negative and full of depth/despair. Cars are another story. In this dream the car would represent control and losing direction/personal mobility. Water crashing against the rocks could mean turmoil in waking life. feelings of being overwhelmed with emotions. Hope that helps!!
