In this dream, I had taken the drug mescaline (peyote) with a former lab mate of mine from my undergraduate university. What's interesting, is when I woke up I realised this was a carryover from a dream I had a few months ago, where I had bought some mescaline with another friend. It was wrapped up in some candy. Anyway, I went to hang out with some friends and was having a good amount of fun with them. I found the drug to not be as impactive as I had anticipated but still felt it. I remember seeing colors around everyone being brighter. Anyway, that's not the important part.

I was not 100% alseep for this dream because the muscles around my hips are sore from the gym and moving them hurts. So, at one point in the middle of my dream, I open my eyes. When I did I saw 5 dice. This is NOT a hyperbole. I quite literally saw dice floating in the air slowly moving. I was awake enough to know that I had my eyes open, I was looking around my room, and was aware I was in bed. There were 5 dice. Black with white dots to represent the numbers. Three floating with two floating above those three. I remember seeing all of the numbers as they turned. What stands out in my mind is that when I added them up, it added up to 21. My eyes were only open for what felt like 10 seconds or so. After this, I closed my eyes and the dream resumed where it left off.

So yeah, it was really interesting! I quite literally saw dice floating in the air. A true hallucination if you will.
