I need some explaining to do before I start but this query is not about any particular dream I need help with the interpretation of

Its about dreaming, the process itself. I've been a heavy dreamer and am even good at recalling them. I have started looking forward to my dreams more often that not mainly because there always is a message, they are so mysterious, totally satisfies my 8th house Sun curiosities.
Sometimes my dreams are exactly what I want to know. I will share a few incidents if anyone is interested. I do a daily draw from my Lenormand oracle at night before bed, and there is always a message in dream which helps me interpret the cards. Now my problem , which I've started to face is that, I'm losing sense of reality.
If I don't see (remember) a dream when I wake up and this goes on for three-four days, I start worrying. Its not because the messages are not coming, its because I'm in love with my dreams. I don't want to wake up and face my real life simply because I want to see dreams, more and more. Even though I don't want to sleep anymore after 10-12hrs I will still meditate etc to put myself to sleep. During the day when I'm working or doing usual chores, I will still have a strange desire to go back to my dreams.

It feels like my dreams are getting better than my reality.Besides that those dreams I saw years and years ago, are now coming back to me in "flashes" during the waking life e.g right now I'm recalling the dream in which I was at this really high tower. That dream happened a long long time ago.

I just don't know what to do. I cannot stop dreaming, and I don't want to yearn for them too. What has happened to me?

Any help will do! I'm seriously in trouble

Hi, Love Being Aries!
I personally think you're very fortunate to possess the ability to vividly recall your dreams. According to the book by James R. Lewis, The Dream Encyclopedia;

"....People reportedly cannot remember ninety-five percent of their dreams
within ten minutes of reentering
their waking lives."

Your post reminds me of the modern day opinion of dreams. There are different views which dreamers hold on their dreams--- What you are speaking of when you say you're in love with your dreams, sounds like the theory proposed from Carl Jung, believing that our dreams are subconcious desires expressed in a message that could reveal something about yourself, your relationships with others, and situations in your waking life.

Do you sleep for an average of ten to twelve hours daily?
This can be unhealthy and may fall under the categories of Somnolence,Hypersomnia or Narcolepsy. Most human adults are recommended to sleep for an average of seven to eight hours a night,
adolescents are recommended eight to nine hours and toddlers twelve to eighteen hours. Maybe you could try bringing your dreams to the real world in a creative form or look into a new hobby? Maybe renting a few movies can serve as another substitute? Goodluck!
Hope that helps!!

Thank you Desiring Shadows for your help

This is my concern, I sleep about 10-12 hours a day, sometimes more than that. This is why I was being concerned.

I'm looking forward to start taking more interest in gym and my project. I hope the problem gets fixed on its own.

Thank you

Unless I jot down hints before going back to sleep, I don't remember most of my dreams.
