Ok, last night I had a really weird dream that I was growing two sets of teeth... There were more details that I unfortunately can't remember, I just know that I was really alarmed to discover this. I've read that dreams involving teeth could signify health problems or issues with family members, but I'm not sure. If anyone has any insights or opinions as to what this could mean I would appreciate them

I **often** have teeth dreams. Did you have two sets of teeth at the same time - like a shark has two rows of teeth? Or were your teeth falling out and new ones were coming in?

Hello, FireMoon! Welcome to LL! Hope you've enjoyed it so far!

Dreams about growingteeth represent attack and development. A stage of life or a development you are going through which you feel like you are having difficulties with your ability to communicate. Lastly, there may be possible health problems linked.

To dream of teeth means words being spoken. False teeth are lies, gold teeth: words of wisdom, loose teeth: loose talk, falling out: talking too much, braces:
controlled speech, sharp or pointed teeth: “sharp” or “pointed” words. This dream is in association with the following scenarios in your life:
•A lack of respect in a work situation.
•Generally you are finding it extremely difficult to communicate with others in authority. This is specifically
related to work or school. By choosing better words and better ways to
communicate this dream indicates that you are likely to improve your communication skills and progression at present
in a work situation.
•If you swallow your teeth or you find that there is a tooth that has
fallen out and you subsequently choke on this tooth this dream indicates that
you are feeling that you are giving up for someone else's benefit. Have you been feeling inadequate around others lately?
•You have been feeling rundown stressed out lately.
•People have commented on how you go
about activities in your life.
•You have got an overwhelming sense of struggling in order to keep up with
buying material possessions in your life.
•You have found that a sense of material burden which have crushed your pride and demolished your self-confidence

Hope that helps!!

Thank you both for your replies!

MoonWitch, In the dream I had two sets of teeth at the same time, but only on the bottom row (that I was aware of)

Desiring Shadows, Thanks for your welcome! I have enjoyed LL and all the great people here A lot of what you wrote resonates with things I’ve been going through. I have been finding it difficult to communicate with people lately. After high school I moved about as far away from home as possible for college, but was forced to come back home to finish my degree for financial reasons, and also because of what I perceive to be a power struggle with my family (my dad and step-mom in particular). I accepted it and have kind of coasted by the past 2 years trying to make the best of things, but lately I’ve been feeling extremely restless, and am trying to find a way to break free of my normal routine. I have the opportunity to go on an exchange program for part or all of my last year of school, and finances aren’t an issue, but as far as gaining my family’s support, and working out the bureaucratic details of transfer credits/ major requirements, I know it’s going to be an uphill battle that I am not especially looking forward to. Also, I’m happy with the school I’m going to now in the sense that I feel like I’ve grown intellectually, and have had good career related opportunities, but in most other areas of my life I’ve just been feeling isolated and unhappy lately. This makes it more difficult to cope with daily stress, and I’ve been questioning whether staying in state to pay cheaper tuition (which has still left me with plenty of student loan debt that I’ll have to start repaying soon) was really worth the things I’ve given up in exchange. But there’s nothing I can do to change that now, and maybe this dream was a sign that I need to stop dwelling on these things so much, and start focusing on what I actually can do to change things right now and in the future.

Anyway, thanks again for your responses, I appreciate them!
