Long story short, I feel like I've had some crazy-ass synchronicity crap happening of late. At first, I thought the dreams I was having and other stuff were either just wish fulfillment or coincidence. But now, it's like this stuff is just ramping up, not slowing down.

As a follow-up to the dreams I recently had & referred to in my other thread, I've had several related(?) dreams, but two that have stuck out:

1. My first love arrived in this one (not the same guy I've been dreaming about). This was a couple weeks ago, but what I am still recalling is his standing next to me yelling at me and asking me something in the neighborhood of why didn't I love him like that or why didn't I do something (what, I don't remember)back then when we were involved. (It would take too much time & space to try to explain our history right now.) I just remember feeling it was ironic him taking this hard stance with me in my dream. I also recall someone telling me I should (in my dream) take the time to read the two handwritten letters he wrote to me, as one of them was supposedly "intense".

Also, importantly, I recall getting ducking into a doorway that actually turned out to be the doorway into a private jet. Particularly, the inside of the jet & it's furniture was pure white and the huge sofa took up the entire space and was circular in shape. I keep thinking there may've been some important symbolism in this dream.

2. I seriously want to know what everyone thinks about synchronicity - real meaning or just a bunch of hooey? Im not looking for any specific yes or no answer, just really wanting to know everyone's thoughts & experiences with it.

3. The synchronicity & dream communication seems to be increasing with my soulmate/friend/love interest - . The one last night really rattled me. I was in what was supposed to be a Subway restaurant, just standing by myself. I felt the need to look up, and when I did, I saw him standing across from me staring at me. Then he said something about "good thing he took that job" or "replaced that woman". It seemed as if he was telling me about a recent job opportunity that he either was offered or had already taken. (Just to clue you in - we're currently living & working in neighboring cities about 45 mins. from each other. Quite frankly, work has been standing in between us for a while now - a necessary evil.) Then, I literally sat bolt upright in bed and woke up.

I get in the car to go to work, and for the 2nd day straight since he talked about liking a particular song on his social networking site, I hear it on the radio AGAIN for the 2nd day in a row. Keep in mind, it's been out of rotation for a long time. This combined with other crazy-ass synchronicity stuff that seems to happen ALL THE TIME NOW!!

Hi Ra! Don't worry, I think I already know where you're heading with this! LOL Actually, we used to be very in-tune, and I would literally know if it was him calling when the phone rang. Then we had that split where we couldn't connect for crap, and now this stuff is all beginning to happen again. Crazy!

After it began happening in my life was when i started looking for answers. about 3 years ago..i started having certain dreams and the synchronicities in life were just hard to ignore. i even realized after some time that the events leading up to that point in my life were all a part of it too. If it hadnt happened i'd probably just be oblivious to all this going on with my life with what ever it was i was doing. So much i've seen , experinced, felt, dreamt ...it was something i was meant to see i guess. I dream a lot...but dont dream too much of people. Sometimes there are certain dreams and certain people in the dreams that are telling you something. You can feel it. And it most often is synchronized with what is going on around you. So yeah, i know just what you mean.

I think it is something you have to experincee to believe... It happens to me all the time too. Keeping and open mind and keenly analyzing everything around me is a bit more natural to me now.

Hi Violet - Yeah, I dream a lot too, and many times they are vivid dreams, meaning they oftentimes feel real and I can remember them (sometimes for a long time after). It's been that way since I was a kid. I would say that people do show up often, but they are usually much more random.

I also remember experiencing bouts of synchronicity over the years, but sometimes you're right, it becomes hard to ignore, like now. True, they are just a bunch of little things, but sometimes those little things add up to something much bigger. That's when it really gets my attention.

In this case, I am trying to keep an open mind and stay open to anything the Universe (or this friend) is trying to tell me or message to me, but you know how it is - sometimes it's hard to just go on faith alone w/ no actual confirmation. I hope I'm not misreading anything...

Glad you responded. I'd love to hear more about everyone's experiences with either synchronicity, dreams, or psychic connections.

Your dreams do feel like more than just wish-fulfillment.

The first dream is a projection of fears/concerns based on past relationship experience onto/into your present experience and future hope. But it also shows that your past experience was a necessary step that set you on a new course (white jet) of self-development (circular sofa). (Circular objects in dreams often symbolize the development of Self) The white can also be seen as symbolic of purification or cleansing.

This dream could be telling you that concerns of the past needn't be brought into the present.

The second dream suggests choice (restaurant) and communication with your guy on a subconscious level ("Subway"). To me, this could mean psychic communication, even if not on a conscious level. Combine that dream with the music synchronicity and it could be suggested that the two of you are becoming more "in tune".

As for synchronicity, in my opinion not hooey and definitely real meaning. Sometimes the meaning is elusive, and sometimes it is crystal clear. Either way, to me it means "you're on the right track". It happens when your unconscious mind bypasses the subconscious to communicate directly with the conscious mind. Your unconscious has access to the collective unconscious, so when there is something to be made aware of the unconscious can adeptly manipulate what you see, hear, and sense. Viola, synchronicity.

That's kind of how I see it anyway.

Fast forward to Part Two of my dream (yeah, that happens a lot). In my hometown, yet again, and it seems there is a lot going on, as if we’re at a nighttime festival or something. I’m with my friends, and we see him and whoever he’s with. We walk over, and it seems we are all saying goodbye to each other to go our separate ways for the evening. When I finally get to him, he bends down for a hug. I seem to recall him either giving me a sweet kiss on the cheek (or at least attempting to). We all start to walk home, and he begins walking with me and whoever I’m with, and he and I are talking, joking and bantering with each other, it feels easy, and then….I woke up, lol.

I think I may start keeping a journal if these things are going to continue.

P.S. - I did try and gently reinitiate contact with him a couple of weeks ago, when I sent him a Christmas card. I haven't heard anything from him (which is ok b/c I didn't send it with any expectation of any type of response).

You know, I don't think I do. I agree with you that this dream is very similar to the others. I don't have a problem being a "guinea pig" here, so I'll be sure to post any updates. In some ways, this seems like an experiment rather than an experience. It's nice to share it with others who may be reading out there, and no matter what happens in the future, I'm excited to see how it develops, too.

Oh wait (I'll try to make this short)--any thoughts on these two dreams? In the first one, I was skateboarding in a parking garage-type of structure. There was a maze of slides in the garage, similar to those in a water park, and we were trying to make our way up the slides from the bottom (as well as sliding down them). I dont' recall the rest.

#2 - In general, I seem to be a pretty empathic person. I have a relative who has been through some trying times this past year. I dreamt the other night that I was going through a similar situation as he's been through,and when I woke up, I had the worst feeling of dread - I literally felt the same exact emotions as he felt during this time. It was heavy. I had to think about it for a minute, but I finally realized that it was only a dream. Weird feeling!

P.S. - How's this for synchronicity? I was looking through the backpages of the Astral Realms forum (waaaaaaayyyy back), and I happened upon a thread wishing you happy birthday....you have the same birthday as the telephone guy in my dreams. This was me:

The second dream is probably just as you've said … feeling empathy by walking in your relative's shoes. Its just a little subconscious workout.

He made another dreamy appearance this week. I haven't dreamt about him since last time, and he appeared three times in one night this time. I wasn't going to post this time because it didn't stick with me as much as this month, but here's what I clearly remember.

Part I - I'm in a classroom setting (either an actual classroom, or a gymnasium set up like a classroom (not sure). I'm sitting in the back, and there's a girl I'm either helping out with something and/or friends with. Somehow, she knows my guy, who may also be helping her out (tutoring, I think?). We're getting ready either for our class to begin or to take a test (not sure which), but she is sitting to my left in front of me. We're in the back rows. Like in a classroom, there's a projector or some AV equip between us. I recall trying to sit in the empty seat directly behind her but not being able to for some reason.

Then, I hear someone ask if my guy could help her in this situation, and since the answer was yes,it was decided that someone would go get him. I remember feeling like "ok, here we go...it's really gonna happen this time. He's coming, and I'm really gonna see him." Then, he's led into the class. I remember trying to play it cool. He doesn't say anything, but walks back to us & takes the seat behind my friend - so he, too, is to my left in front of me, but while his back is to me, he is not DIRECTLY in front of me w/ his back in my face. He never turns around, and neither of us speak to each other. We are just very aware of each other's presence.

THEN, I hear our "friend" say something to the effect that since neither my guy nor I seem to be making any move, she is going to bring us together. Dream over.

Part II - this doesn't take place in the same setting, and I only recall my guy telling someone (idk who) that he is going to call me.

Part III - I think he either called me or was just getting ready to call me, but I woke up. I only vaguely remember this part. But I don't remember any phone ringing, or answering a phone, or any phone conversation.

Real life update - still not heard from him. We have a mutual friend who recently spoke with him & gave me an update, but telephone guy and I still have yet to see/speak to each other.

Dream life = 3 (or 4, or 5)
Real life = 0

LOL.

I don't know that I'm really putting much stock into this set of dreams. It could be b/c we had just talked about him in real life. Part I was the part that was vivid, but Parts II & III I don't remember much of them at all. I will say, though, that whenever he does appear in a dream, it seems to be very comforting to me.

What happened to me in the first dream with the cellphone, umm, uhh....wow. It felt like it just happened to me in real life--only on my laptop instead of the cellphone! I was looking at a post on his social network page (don't judge), and I clicked on what I thought was just a pic/video,thinking I could see better if it was larger.

Uhh, no. What I got was a sheer panic adrenaline attack! Instead of a picture, what I saw on the screen was similar to what I saw in the dream. As I was frantically trying to figure out how to get away from this screen, I heard a voice start talking! Too freaked out to listen to who it was or what they were saying. That's when that first dream came rushing back. Since I was fumbling so much trying to close the page, I just ended up slamming my laptop closed! The whole thing practically played out like my dream.

Whew! That almost became a worst nightmare come true scenario. Smh, lol. Don't know if this incident means anything or not (not a dream but synchronicity maybe), but I felt as strongly as I did in my dream. Don't know if that would be classified as a psychic-type predictive dream or not. (I don't recall ever having one for sure.) Open to thoughts, but just thought I'd share.

EDIT: Just realized that he was actually posting on his page when that happened. o_O
So strange how that happens - seemingly no connection for however long, then all of a sudden something intense happens & the connection is everywhere again.

There are definately some compelling corelations with your dream ... perhaps predictive, perhaps synchronous. In the end, it doesn't really matter because this has happened. So what in the heck are you going to do now?!
