I've noticed I tend to materialize and modify clothes on me (and sometimes shoes) in my dreams (and I'm not even into fashion ). It happened to be emerald and red dresses a couple of times. I don't wear dresses in rl but I really like these colors. I usually modify the clothes too to make them look even better or if something doesn't fit perfectly. I don't pay attention to my body before I get these ideas. Last night I dreamt about a leather outfit. I was on my way to church (I don't do it in real life) and for some reason I suddenly felt like wearing leather clothes. Black trousers and a black jacket materialized on me and when I looked at myself I felt quite sexy. When I got to the church I sat on a bench. It was rather dark inside and there were people praying there. I noticed the jacket was slightly ill-fitted and I tried to fix it (with my mind). It didn't went well cause it got way too tight and I just wanted to fix the sleeves. Then it got looser but also much longer and the cut totally changed. It kinda looked like a corset blouse. I stopped at that point and I think then I woke up. I should probably add that I talked with someone about a church meeting before I went to sleep and I've been drawn to leather clothes lately. What's about these clothes? ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Hello I'm so cappy This dream could suggest that you are inappropriately "suited" (sexy leather in church) in some way for some situation in your life. There may be a need to change an attitude, aspect of your persona, or feelings. Or … Are you having trouble or issues with "fitting in"? Are you going through some kind of change or transition, perhaps due to a crisis? What about yourself needs change? What do you think? IP: Logged |

Hi! Thanks for replying.Yes, I have a problem fitting in, at least where I live currently. My personality isn't changing. But my location might change soon. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Do you think "fitting in" is what the dream was about?IP: Logged |

It kinda makes sense. At one point I could hardly breathe in that jacket and this place suffocates me...------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Clothing To dream of your clothes is symbolic of your public self and how you are perceived. It is indicative of the act you put on in front of others. Clothes are also an indication of your condition and status in life. Thus, if you wear clothes that do not suit you or that you normally would not wear, then it suggests that you are putting up a front and trying to deceive others. Something in your life is "unsuitable". It may be a symbol of hypocrisy and being someone that you are not. Alternatively, it could also mean that you are revealing a hidden part of yourself to the world. Leather To see or wear leather in your dream represents toughness and ruggedness. It may imply your thick -skinned nature. Or perhaps you are seeking protection from the elements. Alternatively, the dream refers to your instinctual and animalistic nature. It may also have sexual connotations. IP: Logged |
