Hi,
I am not really into stuff like this but I find them interesting at times. I have a friend who says he is a high magician and he has taught me some things about the occult. I never really bothered to think about them until now. The one time, he taught me how to create an energy ball. Surprisingly, it did work and I felt a ball thing between my hands. I just don't know what to do with it, so I squished it. But one thing that really bothered me and interest me at the same time is astral projection. He told me you can travel to different places while your body remains at the same place. I wanted to try it but I never really had the guts because I'm too scared of what I would find in the astral realm. Plus, I'm Catholic, and I believe we are not supposed to practice occult. There was this one night when I felt like I was waking up but I was having a really hard time doing it. It felt like something in my body that was keeping me from waking up. I felt a pulling energy from my body and for the few seconds that my eyes were half-open, I saw something white fly by. Then with all the strength I had, I forced my eyes open. I felt drained of energy when I finally woke up. This happened three times, except the next two times, there was no white flying thing that I saw. Can anyone tell me what this is? Or if it's somehow related to astral projection? ------------------

Hello Solar Leo Queen  I don't think there's anything "occult" about astral projection, but that's my opinion. To me, it is simply another type or level of awareness. What you have experienced sounds like what could be the beginnings of a projection experience. The mind and body go through various stages/cycles as we sleep and sometimes these processes between mind and body overlap each other, which can cause strange sensations and/or experiences. The objective in bringing about an astral projection is to have your body asleep but your mind awake, at which point you are more able to direct your astral body away from the physical. There is little to fear in doing this. In fact, any fear experienced is almost entirely self-created.

I got struck at feeling my body go weightless.. then I went into deep sleep..... argh....
