I've had this same dream, but in a slightly different form, for the last few months. I've talked about it here before. It's so frightening, I wake up shaken up a bit and affraid that it'll continue if you go back to sleep. In the dream the moon crashes down on the Earth. Everything goes black. People that I don't know nor have met are in the dream. I'm not my real self, it's almost like I'm a futuristic teen version of myself. It's so weird. Anyways these strange people and myself are at the beach, laughing and having a good time. Then out of nowhere the Moon gets really huge and starts to descend into Earth. It's so vivid I can still see it when I close my eyes. Everything goes black and I remember screaming. It freaks me out and I wake up. It's so intense and feels so real. What in the heck could this possibly be about? It just pops out of nowhere it seems. I have this weird obsession with the moon yes but I'm not thinking about it my sleep, or so I think anyways. Hi BarbieGirl19I would be tempted to say that this dream might be a build up of emotional stress in your real life. Perhaps you may be worried that things are to good be true.I say this because you seemed to be enjoying yourself before the disaster struck. I wonder if seeing a teen version of yourself is a sign that you are worried about an old problem.Maybe an old problem may resurface and come back to haunt you.Perhaps you may have to deal with a new problem that was similar to the problem that you had in the past. What I have said are only opinions and aren't definite answers and may not be correct. I hope you are doing well as know you have had a traumatic time recently. IP: Logged |

Hi Panthera Leo, What you interpreted actually makes SOOO much sense. I've second guessed myself my entire life and due to recent traumatic experiences I'm doing it heavily. I'm trying my best to ignore them and bury them deep but I'm overflowing. I don't want to go into too much detail, as I do have 12th house Moon and would rather keep it to myself. But I will say what you said feels so spot on. I liked how you interpreted it. I greatly appreciate your insight. I'm doing okay, still taking it one day at a time. Hope you're well also. Happy Holidays. IP: Logged |

Please read it as an opinion: The moon in the dream symbolizes the mother, the dark and unknown side within a person. He can also stand for the elusiveness. It is a symbol of the dependence, the female principle, the change and the growth, the biological rhythms and the passing time. Therefore it can be that you are contemplating about your authoritarian upbringing of your mother (=big descending moon) and think about your behaviour as a mother (=futuristic teen version of yourself) in the future.

I'm doing okay at the moment barbiegirl19. I hope you and Geminikarat both have a good Christmas this year.I like your answer Geminikarat.I would give you a thumbs up for the interpretation. I would agree with what you have said.I was thinking of including a similar part in my reply explaining the symbolism of the Moon but I decided not to because I thought It might sound a bit to cryptic and I didn't want to freak you out Barbiegirl19.I also did think about talking about motherhood but I didn't really want to bring it up considering your recent loss. I'm glad to hear your doing okay though. IP: Logged |

Thank you Panthera. I really appreciate that so much. I understand the astrological meaning of the moon, it's just tough for a person who's suffered multiple losses to comes to terms with the one thing you've lost repeatedly possibly being the meaning of the dream. But as I said earlier I appreciate you both very much. Hope you both have wonderful holidays. I may find the original of this dream and post the link here if it helps make sense of it. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum15/HTML/003291.html IP: Logged |

Hello Barbiegirl Panthera Leo, your insights are great! I like GeminiKarat's thoughts as well. I agree, this type of dream could be occurring when you are feeling overwhelmed, when emotional energies are "crashing down" on you. How often do you have these dreams? Do they correlate with times of stress or high emotion in your waking life? Or maybe even your monthly cycle? IP: Logged |

Hi Ra. Excellent questions. I'm not 100 percent postive but it seems to happen every 2nd or 3rd monthly cycle. Weird huh? I'm not sure if it has to do with my hormones or what. But it seems to get more and more intense each time it occurs. IP: Logged |
