I just had alot of childhood trauma and it's like PTSD somewhat. I wake up but the feeling is so real that my adrenaline is pumping even though I know where I'm at. A demon or monster is just an ego that your mind has created that your dealing with. Coin phrase " dealing with your deamons" and biblical reasons, probably why the mind creates it as a demon/monster. It's ment to scare you because your mind is dealing with the fact of whatever issue you are dealing with in order to heal itself. That's why we need REM sleep. Body paralasis is the state of being in sleep and wakefulness, it's also to keep you from sleepwalking. Your body also jerks during sleep because the mind will send out a signal that the body is dyeing.

Demons are a figment of your imagination ? Sleep paralysis is to keep you from sleepwalking ? Which whacky idiot psychologist came up with these ?

The biggest trick that evil managed, is to make people believe that he does not exist. That way you don't fight him. Instead, you are told to embrace the dark 'part of you'. Explain one thing, how does a mind of not traumatised 4 year old child invent a demon ? that scares the living daylights out of him ? To heal what exactly? Which part of this makes sense ?

WAKE UP.

If you don't believe demons are real, just read a couple of books written by Exorcist priests. Or watch a movie 'The Rite' from 2011 with Anthony Hopkins, this is supposed to be the closest to reality of exorcisms and how demons get in. .

Embracing the so called 'dark side of you' is literally making a contract with the dark/negative/low vibrations/evil or whatever you want to call it. You make that contract and 'it' will be present in your life. The goal of the demons is to get in. The goal of the dark is to destroy. Revoke all the contracts made knowingly or unknowingly with the negative/dark etc.

We are beings of light, there is no dark part of us to embrace. Darkness cannot exist in the same space as light. If you switch on a light in your room, is it dark ? No. Basic law of physics. The darkness is not part of you - it exists outside of you - and oh boy it does want to come in so bad. But it can't, unless you invite it in or as they say 'embrace' it. For your soul sake embrace only the light. Reject the dark for it has no place in your soul.

The only defense against demons is assistance from the highest authority and the highest good, whether you know that as God or the Light or something else.
If you are allergic to the name "Jesus" or the word "God" then you may want to appeal to that aspect of the universe that is truly caring, loving, wise and truthful to all beings, in whatever way you can imagine it. By the way, Jesus means "God rescues" .

Sleep paralysis is most likely part of OBE event. As we step out of the body, we are most vulnerable. Negative beings always attack your astral body, and they want to sneak into your earthly physical material body. You see, for them it is fun, much like driving a car.

^^

You've misunderstood colorful butterfly. She didn't mean "brokering a deal" of any kind (certainly not with the "forces of darkness") by saying "dealing with." Rather, it's about the mind trying to heal. In English, "to deal" can also mean "to heal, endure, overcome."

I'm assuming English isn't your first language since you say you're from the EU (and "novabronte" sounds more Spanish or Italian to me) and I'm amazed that you could've misunderstood CB so completely. But as even native speakers can find English confusing, I can see how someone who knows it as a second language can get even more confused, and figured you were just as amazed by what CB said given the way you (mis)understood it.

@PixieJane

I find your reply somewhat odd.
The problem is that your whole argument is based on the phrase "dealing with demons".
While my post was addressing the erroneous statement that demons are invented by our own mind, and about the pitfalls of 'embracing the dark'.
I quote OP: "A demon or monster is just an ego that your mind has created that your dealing with". She then builds a story to support this using the phrase you've referred to, and the bible.

So all that can be said about your patronising reply is - you assumed too much.

If you want to decipher my nick, let me help you:

Nova = a star showing a sudden large increase in brightness and then slowly returning to its original state over a few months.
Bronte = a rather lovely beach in Sydney :-)

Notabene: I would have loved to be born Italian ! My natal would have been easier with Vx axis unaspected....

I still think you misunderstood her.

And if it wasn't too off topic I'd address your other points to CB.

But I only want to reply to this:

I was trying to show a lack of hostility in my response (that is nothing personal and it wasn't meant to be any kind of attack against you), but since that's a waste of time I won't bother anymore.
