so about a year ago on an afternoon i fell asleep, things were normal, nothing out of ordinary.

the setting is my real life apartment where we still live since the early 80s. i don’t remember the beginning of the dream just that i went out to the balcony and noticed that the surrounings were not from today but from the 80s-early 90s. i looked to the side where my real life childhood friend’s family still lives and 2 or 3 unfamiliar little kids were hanging out of his 3rd floor window laughing, playing. i felt it was too dangerous but instead of warning them i went inside a bit panicky quickly closing the door. as i was closing the door it became a rusty colored tent’s entrance with its screen and little peephole which i closed as well like i was inside the tent.

at this point i was inside our living room and my dad came along or something like that and i felt relieved, safe.

i went to the northside of the apartment looking out the kitchen window noticing a construction site on the side of the building (in real life they were buliding a department store at the end of the 80s). i went down to check out and they were building a concrete parking lot. the c.site was quiet i was alone there, nothing strange, just trucks and concrete, normal. as i was wandering around i started to feel uncomfortable sensing a kind of danger that i had to leave and go home right now! started to walk back to my building wondering about the little kids, if nobody fell off the window.

as i approached the gate feeling better that i’m almost at home i looked up to make sure i’m at the right number but i knew it was my gate. i was reaching to the entryphone and the whole scene changed in front of me and i saw a white board or something like that.

there was a photo of a girl on it. around 18-20 years old, blonde wavy hair with bangs, smiling, her clothes were from between 1985-1991 i’d say. never ever seen her before or know her at all and seems she was from another country, typical 80s american fashioned. next to the photo was some writing which i realized was her burial card or what they put out at funerals. seeing the date she was born and died, some words as well (can’t remember what was exactly written there). i felt staggered and sad realizing it was about a dead girl.

i was backing out and i started to feel very confused and very very scared. like really scared. i was still in front of my apartment building and sensing somebody else but i didn’t look or see anybody. then hearing either inside me or somebody else saying in my memory in english - „what happened? where am i?” - feeling someone else’s confusion at the same with my confusion. i felt this person was lost, didn’t know where she was, like waking up or something like that. i’m not 100% sure it was the girl from the photo or it was somebody close to her but it was a female.
now i really really wanted to go home to the apartment because this person was inadvertently here and i really didn’t want her in my surroundings and couldn’t help her because i have no idea who she is.

i started to walk to the other side of the building and i noticed a woman was walking toward my home. it was my grandma (rip ). noticing her i started feel better. i was minding my step i looked up again and the person changed into my mom from the 80s when she was young. then when we approached each other it was mom in her today self coming from the market showing some kind of raw meat she bought saying she would cook for us and i’m telling her it looked fairly disgusting, wouldn’t eat it. i was relieved and felt safe again.

i woke up and i still felt violated and deeply disturbed and scared. i laid in my bed for about half an hour feeling paralized, confused and crying. i still can’t forget this dream and remember everything. i was thinking maybe this girl died and probably her mother died when i dreamed this looking for her or it was the girl and she re-lived her confusion again when she died back in the day. i’m not sure what this dream was or if i’m capable to sense others or just my mind playing tricks with me. i know when i dream it is me and my mind entirely. in this dream i felt somebody else was definitely stepping in, was there…

And you felt violated by that when you woke up?

Could it be connected with a fear of becoming her...taking on her attributes? Was there a time when a girl like her would have represented to you something negative? Do you have an ongoing sympathy with that girl, that affects your thinking?

The mothers changing form, the dead meat, children hanging from a window, all call to mind transformation and death, Plutonian themes.

As a dead person partially "became you" by inhabiting you, perhaps it called to mind your own mortality. And I notice you feel safe with family, unsafe without, in this dream...

So I would think it's connected to conscious concerns about keeping the family intact, and preserving its unique traditions, and maybe it's about not becoming Americanized and generic (?) but holding to older customs.

The dream has themes of the moon (mother), Saturn (traditions, structure, construction site) and Pluto (death). Possibly, your dream was caused by transits involving these planets.

no connection to this girl at all. she and the other female wasn't aware i was there or they're in my dream or kind of using me.

it feels like somebody tried to tune in to a channel where they can connect to this dead girl and by mistake they landed in my dream somehow. closing the tent feels was not part of MY dream. when the scene dissolved into the burial card they fully connected finally. i read the card and i realized my dream became somebody's psychic medium session where they were trying to conncet with this dead girl... felt violated because i didn't want them to use my dream to connect. does this make sense? is it possible that something like this exist? i've never had a dream like this before or since, totally medium-esque. and i don't want to be part of anything like this in dreams or awake

I'm not really familiar with the various dream states, so maybe I shouldn't have tried to interpret it.

Tr Neptune on your moon does make sense for having a channeling or medium experience, especially when it squares transiting Saturn on your Jupiter-Uranus.

Tr NN on the MC, tr Mars on the IC in Aries, both more or less squared by tr Pluto (can't see Pluto's degree there)...it looks intense, but I don't know how to link that to a dream "invasion" if you will. Hopefully someone else can.

I think you were born the same day as LL member hypatia, by the way.

you both wrote very good suggestions that made me dig deeper, looking for reasons or link these with known memories or un/conscious things or anything that happened around that time or 1 year ago. i think i found fitting things.

and i think i found what that young dead girl could mean to me although the 'medium-esque' feeling and that i felt someone invading my dream is still off to me.

but here's something:
perhaps, maybe, just a thought my mom was thinking about me -something i did around the same age as this girl- with all her water placements and i sensed it as a dream?

what does medium or invasion could mean in dreams?

she and her mom were born on the same day btw

It is real work with TPluto and TSaturn.

We had a discussion here about nightmares and "invasion". I like different opinions on that and I think that there are dreams that feels like an invasion.
