I agree with Ayelet 100%. Oftentimes it happens that an OBE occurs when taking a "break" from routine practice. The subconscious never takes such a "break", so the programming is still operative even when you are not consciously trying to activate it.

That is why we "practice". It creates the subconscious programming.

I have experienced this myself.

MahaKali, you are on the right track. In my opinion, the way in which you are experimenting, and the mindset that you have, are very positively conducive to what you are trying to achieve.

Keep up the good work!

I highly recommend Robert Monroe's trilogy on OBEs, if you haven't already read them.

So here I am again. From the day of first experience I shared here, I had many times astral projection, sleep paralysis stoped, cause I'm relaxed every time my astral body separate from physical. But I have other problem, every time it happens, I can't move further from my physical body, I'm just a little above body and when I try to fly I soon return and wake up.

To be honest, these few months was very busy cause of new job, and not like I had enough time for more practice, it happens that I fall asleep cause I'm tired or my thoughts wander a lot. But soon after first time, I had two days in a row AP few times in one night, with constant waking.

I wonder, those with this experience, how you worked on this? And do you think yoga would be good for better skills? I want to start to go to yoga from the next month.

Sounds to me like you are making decent progress. Keep doing what you are doing, and yoga certainly wouldn't hurt!

I had this happen to me once and I saw the ugly oily man that some people see. I wear a cross since then . It is terrifying !!! I was in my bed looked over and saw him, rolled back over the thought WTH, looked back over then it grabbed me. I was trying to get away from this thing and it started sucking on my neck.

I had no idea what it meant. I asked so many people about it, I have nightmares but this was pure terror! I think I wrote about it on here, anyway. Finally someone told me a witch riding my back so I looked it up. Sleep paralysis.

Anyway, before I wake up as an automatic habit. I wiggle my fingers before I open my eyes.

The more you're afraid the worse it will be. I learned to immediately try to wake up myself when sleep paralysis began until I started to practice astral projection and learned to relax. I don't have SP anymore.
