I'm in a big room. Might have been a lab. There are literally hundreds upon hundreds of sunflowers and every single one is facing the same direction; away from me. Above them are heating lamps. I find it really odd how they are positioned because I figured the actual plant (yellow part) wouldn't be getting any heat like that. I decide to examine lamps closer and when my face is right underneath one, I notice how lamp turn towards my face and I can feel the warmth. In dream this scared me because I thought it was REALLY "alien-like". That's it! IP: Logged |

Hello Charlie Sorry about the delay. Like Randall said ... doesn't sound too wacky. I'll give you some thoughts asap. How "alien-like" was it? What do you mean by that? IP: Logged |

Due to it’s name, shape, color, and the way it tracks the sun, a sunflower can symbolize the inner self, and/or the “flowering” of an enlightened state or spiritual ideal. Interestingly, the sunflowers in your dream are inside, perhaps in a lab, which suggests controlled, directed, or even confined growth of some kind. Being faced away from you suggests that there may be something about this energy or process of “inner flowering” which you are unaware of, have not acknowledged, or do not recognize. Besides this, there appears to be something fundamental that you do not understand about this growth dynamic (positioning of lamps). The dream could suggest that you are getting close to an insight (warm) that is very different, strange, unusual, or even otherworldly (alien-like) to you. I’m not sure how to translate these energies into a reflection of your waking life, but maybe you will have some ideas. Anything strike a chord? And there are other ways to see some of the symbols that we can examine further if what I wrote doesn’t feel right. For instance, the multitude of flowers could represent individuals, or a group of individuals with some commonality. Or it could make a pretty good pregnancy dream. What do you think?

REALLY late reply!! Sorry for bad manners Anyway, with "alien-like" I meant that in dream it felt....very science fiction when lamp turned towards my face. Like something you would see in a science fiction movie. Actually, now that I think back, the entire dream had this science fiction "vibe". Everything from sunflowers to lamps felt so organized and staged. And there was a "purpose" in that room that kinda scared me. Like robots waiting for orders. Pregnancy would be nice but according to a tarot reading I had, it won't seem to happen until early 2018. IP: Logged | |
