**BIG HUGS** Gbear Such a truly LOVELY gesture today. I appreciate your thank-you, with all my Heart! And talk about an ability to choose "just the right song"? You did that. {{Plus! an Abba fan here }} *bawling my eyes out, with big smile* It is my Pleasure. Thank you for being courageous and sharing your dreams openly. We ALL gain from you sharing the contents of your Creative psyche. *It's a Privilege* Thanks (and hugs) again.

Oh Ayelet ... You know I'm your Fan. AND, you have the ability to "get to the point" much faster than I can. You can say in just a few words, what takes me time and paragraphs to explain. So, thank YOU very much for what you do at LL. I feel another Gbear hug coming on!! {{{ }}} Secret Geek, I spent a day in contemplation over your message the other day..... "unselfish" ? .... is there really such a thing as being 'unselfish' when you are a "mortal" being?
Self. Self-identity. Looking through one's own eyes at everything...... That's an inescapable fact. It's part of the trap of the mind, in relationship with others, and EVERYTHING. It's part of the hazards or limitations of being in an astro-earthsuit. We are wired to have wants and desires that drive or propel us, either towards or repulsed by, in our life? Part of my personal selfishness, is that I like to write a lot???.. awww {{j/k}} And I certainly very much treasure and ENJOY reading people's dreams, and trying to re-create your world in my psyche, and do my best to craft an appropriate response-- including the songs! (haha) ... very much, the songs. I Loved the Celine Dion song .. Immortality? First, she is a Beautiful person, and that was a Gorgeous Film.. so well done.
And I appreciate too your cleverness for drafting off of some of the "liminal" conversations (about Consciousness), AND the fact that Dreams ARE a liminal state? wow LOL Personally? I MYSELF 'feel' like a liminal character.. look at my LL name? Yes, I'm here... or.... actually, the question begs-- am I??? *roll* Some of us have gifts of 'surrealness' ... and you fit that description well, Secret Geek. You are another person who is gifted with being able to poignantly express yourself, and say sooooo much with only simple gestures, words, a song. Thank you humbly for that. ~*.. I don't know if you all realize it, but I tend to criticize my own self a LOT. I have issues about selfishness, and what is not-selfish. Stems a lot from my childhood (OF COURSE??? LOL). I grew up with a mom who was NEVER ever ever satisfied, no matter what I did or didn't do, there was 'something wrong with it'. She always would have the carrot-reward waving at me, then take it away with ONE small 'slip' or mistake that I would chance to make. Or, she would take things away (that I had earned) 'just because' and never give an excuse. Because she 'took everything away' all the time, I think I learned to 'do' things for others with low-expectation of appreciation and reward. I learned to 'do' because it is the Right thing to do it.. I saw all her promises of 'rewards' and 'carrots' as only a way to control and manipulate. Like, if you tell someone what you "like"-- then they go out of their way to 'block' that from you. Her love was FAR from unconditional and she openly disliked me in front of family and friends... She used to interfere with my relationships, and had ACTUALLY told my school friends that I "didn't deserve friends." I grew up in GREAT isolation... So, ..... I'm sorry if I'm blubbering all over the place right now. tJupiter entered my Scorpio 12th House, and tChiron Pisces has spent a long time across from my Virgo Moon. I'm NOT going to delineate. NOPE! LOL. My chart is sooo energized now. *~.. Gbear... You have NO idea how much your thoughtfulness really mattered. So special... I feel like I have a hard time fitting in, most of the time. I TREASURE you all, so much. Thank you, with all my Heart. .... IP: Logged |

Mirage, TY sincerely. Yes, it is possible to be unselfish. Jesus said to deny self (soul). That is how to access the human spirit we were conceived with.IP: Logged |
